Any idea what other locations will be used for the Folk Festival. I keep hearing there will be a minimum of 4 locations.

Guess you will be seeing the orange bikes parked here too, what a waste.

big money pit!!

I can see the homeless and skate boarders destroying this.

A governmental amphitheater is the only logical choice.A private amphitheater involves vastly too much expense to recoop.Great news!

Nice...I can't wait to get robbed there.

For a months worth of work it looks like it is moving pretty slow to me.

4:31 if you are scared stay home....more room for the rest of us to enjoy in comfort!!! Great location can't wait for its completion!! Everything that gets built has a cost, we like it and we will utilize it. Guarantee it won't look as bad as the County ball field or Winterplace which Alcoholic Bob can't take care of either one.

Nothing like placing a music amphitheater adjacent to a major traffic way.

I think this is going to be nice for Salisbury! Mayor day is doing a good job and city council! We have bike routes new businesses such as krispy kreame Burlington we have the bike share program trolley service a new skate park

"Nothing like placing a music amphitheater adjacent to a major traffic way."

Ain't that the truth! Maybe it could be used for pantomime performances...or maybe sign language concerts because the audience isn't going to be able to hear anything.

Adjacent to a highway, huh? So you all have never heard of amplification. Typical shorebilly hick fools.

Great location but I am concerned about parking. I have attended many festivals in this area and you do not hear traffic when most bands are performing.

Hey JT don't forget to post your reminder to share the road with the increased motorcycles.....Spring Rally starts tomorrow...."Bikes to The Beach"! Thanks

Wait Delmarva Veteran Builders built it. It must be patriotic. Its like buying cars after 9/11. Wont you people ever learn

6:53 Yeah, what about a dirt bike track for the blacks, when we come wheeling by, while your there you will understand ,fucccc a skate board park.

What an invitation for a vehicle bomber, rammer or shooter -- great escape route. Wrong place if not the wrong expenditure of public funds as well. Better build a big wall along the roadway.

Of course they could close the road during events, LOL.

Traffic lights restrict fast moving noisy traffic through that dection. Easy access to events held there, sound of shows won't be any issue!

12:48 Not if the cars have loud exhaust systems or motorcycles( ISSUE)

Ok now I know. For that price why not, right!?

3:55 PM IMO you are a moron. Why should the taxpayers foot the bill for this BS. Anyone with half a brain knows that community functions should be supported by local businesses and owned by non-profit organizations

The city should not be in the festival business. They should not own or maintain any stages or amphitheaters. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

If fact if you had a penny's worth of brain cells you would know that the folk festival contract stipulates that the festival needs to be "owned" by a non profit organization and not the city.

Boy, I can tell you guys are not paying city taxes like I am!

Dumbest expense ever made by Day.

Great move by our Mayor and City Counsel! It will be a fun time! I pay City taxes and am very pleased, could they be less? Yes, but not at the expense of making our City look cheap! You have to spend money to make money!! This venue as well as the National Folk Festival is a win win for businesses in the area as well as our City!

and nothing about the robberies. stop protecting him.
