Edward Winder Sentenced To Life

I am always amazed at the number of times judges make sentences for multiple crime concurrent-meaning the defendant must only serve the time for the longest sentence which is always reduced by good time and parole.

On the other hand, if the sentences are consecutive, with the shortest sentence being consecutive to the longest sentence, then the defendant must do ALL of the longest sentence, and THEN his shorter sentence begins. And a defendant with a consecutive sentence may not be granted parole for his first sentence.

If a defendant assaulted or killed two people and gets two 25 years to be served concurrently (basically two crimes and just one sentence), where is the justice for the second victim? The sentences should be served consecutively

Winder? Yep, no relation to General John Henry Winder.

I will take the General and his sign over any murdering fool like this any day.

What's up with all of these young people who don't care if they go to jail for life?Is there so much nothingness in their lives that they feel they have nothing to live for?
