Parent Of Student Involved In Wi Middle Fight Writes In
“Lets get the facts straight the fight at wi middle was due to 3 girls trying to jump one so of course 2 other girls came to her defense the teacher got injured by trying to break up the fight he was not attacked. Of course the teacher shouldve never been hurt but due to one student who doesnt understand the school is for education not for jumping people. So to all of you assuming shit the teacher was not attacked on purpose. And to inform you i am the mother of one of the girls who went to protect the one getting jumped i have called numerous times to wi middle and spoke with mr. Purnell several times about these girls and nothing has got done these girls are fed up with the bullying and had enough since the school isnt protecting them like they should they did what they had to do. When will they listen to the kids and start acting on these bullying situations enough is enough. “

A new law will fine the parents of kids who are bullies.I'm not sure how much that fine will be,but it's a very good idea.
How old are these middle school kids 12, 13, maybe 14. This is absolutely crazy.

I had this same problem at Parkside . So when my daughter finally caught back after getting a water bottle thrown at her. She school suspended her firv5 days and the other 3 girls for three days. They said my daughter started the fight when the camera fully shows my daughter walking away until she gets hit in thge head with a full bottle of water. The bully reports are worthless. I had go to to the BOE to demand the other girls get th e sane suspension days. Smh

Has anything been done about the girl giving 2 boys oral sex in back of classroom at Bennett Middle,with substitute teacher in classroom. Kids called in office, parents never notified. What has happened to our school system.
From the parent all 6 have been charged til court and they have to have the story heard. I tried to press charges directly they will not allow me til after court from the school than i do it myself i was not allowed to file xharges with officers that were there.

It's not all the schools issues. We not only took God out of the schools, we took out the teaching of morals and values. We took it out at home too. Parents are not teaching their kids anymore. Cell phones are doing that. The problems are huge and start at home. I don't know that it can be fixed the kids are so far gone. It's terrible!

Compared to the black 13% population they have the most on WELFARE AND PRISON.
That comment was to all the racist ass people on here who want to act like everytime something happens they have to be black it has nothing to do with welfare. I have held her back for over a year with these same girls and since the school has done nothing about it these girls are fed up and started protecting themselves now their bullies have learned a hard lesson and it probably isnt done. Unfortunately these girls did a sneak attack on these students which did end bad for the bullies since my daughter has been told to only hit when hit first so since the girl came from behind with her attack my daughter had to be pulled off her. We are required by law to send our kids to school so they should be safe and receiving their education that we send them for not this.

These are some ignorant comments on here. What does race, welfare, Obama has to do with this incident. Apparently there are bullies in the schools and nothing is being done about it. I am glad this Mother is speaking out and trying to make a difference for the kids and her child. I hope they get their issue resolved with the BOE (who is failing the kids) by not addressing the bullies or doing anything about it and in court.
