If they were there through the night might have frozen to death. Very sad.

Culver has just put his latest “State of the County” on the County website. It’s really a reelection campaign propaganda piece prepared at the taxpayer’s expense, filled with so-called accomplishments, most of which are routine, insignificant or none of his doing. It tops those BS statements that Rick Pollitt used to make every year.

Then there are Culver’s many notable achievements during the past year that he (or his paid publicist) omitted from his self-serving statement.

No mention of his screw-ups in the budget, the “Station 13” fiasco that the Council made him drop, the landfill fee waiver scam that backfired (and cost $$$), supporting the “gift” of polluted property that the Council killed, opposing the Council’s decisions to cut the property tax rate and restore things that he cut from the Board of Education, County jobs for his kids and Albero’s wife, blocking the special audit that Council wanted, to name a few.

And, of course, no mention of the lawsuits, judgments, and tax liens.

That's what we are getting from him for $85,000 per year, and it could become $130,000 if the salary committee's recommendation is adopted and Culver is reelected.

dear sir, speaking of people being unconscious, I live near Booth st. and there were a couple county workers who aparently were sleeping in there truck. I think they were supposed to be working on our local park. When I saw em I thought they might be suffering from carbon dioxide poisoning, so I banged on the window. Thank God they woke up. A little while later I saw em chopping up leaves. So all is good.

A person is found unresponsive not breathing and these negative post are unreal. Hope all is well and the victim has been revived. However, all of these negative comments are uncalled for. You fail to realize it could be a loved one of yours or you perhaps. How about praying for them and their families with hopes that your family doesn't fall victim and you don't have to identify your love one. People are so rude and heartless on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. So sad!

Did he have a meeting or a public hearing for this State of the County address? Where was it held?

No, you are wrong. They are City of Salisbury workers. Happens all the time and you are just deflecting for the city workers already caught on film as well as the loafers freeloading at Wawa every morning.

And BTW, learn how to spell and proper use of grammar.

Did it ever occur to you that a persons health shouldn't be posted on a blog either? Dumb A$$!!

4:59...sounds like you didn't make the cut when applying for English teacher. It has to be something or you wouldn't feel so great attempting to correct others.
Speaking of grammar, what is "BTW" in a sentence? Big Turd Wholesaler or what. I wasn't taught that in school. But, I also don't correct others when they have their say. Try applying for employment on the truck you saw, you may have a better chance of being productive.
