Hebron Story Taking Weird Turn

I was out of town today and was following Wicomico First Alert who posted about a body being found .I copied and pasted their report verbatim to let my readers know what was happening. When I got home I tried to contact Ryan from first alert and saw not only is first alert gone but I can't get any response. At this point I don't know what is going on I will try to find out tomorrow.

Just to let everyone know there are 2 "Wicomico First Alert" pages and the one by Ryan Stevenson, former fireman, former Hurricane Katrina wannabe hero, has been taken down. I've seen people on FB trying to say the story has been taken down when in reality Ryan's Wicomico First Alert page is gone.

Wicomico First Alert has gotten it wrong so many times, it's not reliable information. They hear a bit of info on the scanner and make up the rest of the story!

Be cautious where you get your information, whether it be TV news, FB Twitter or internet websites.

The time space continuum is playing tricks on us again.Slips are occurring in crazy ways and crimes are un happening.Of course my comment sounds absurd, but it's true, and I feel sorry for anyone who brings us the news. That being said, thanks for doing what you do best.

Exactly. Ryan Stevenson is a POS and always has been. I pray that he heals from his devastating injury and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Never the less even though he is bed bound or wheel chair bound he shouldn't keep posting fake news that he hears on the scanner.

That made JT and his blog look bad.

JT here is something you should post for your fans to see.

The Ryan Stevenson Wicomico First Alert FB page is back up and now he is claiming that it is the other page that is posting the false information. What a nice distraction. I know for a fact that it was his page posting the false Hebron story and he took his page down. Ryan Stevenson with his bogus Wicomico First Alert Fake News page is trying to cover his a$$.

Facebook WILL NOT delete a story just because you 'report' them. It has to be a serious lie and a photo or video and chances are they will delete the page or make the page unavailable until the "false" story is confirmed. Then it has to go against Facebook's "Community Standards." Heck Facebook rarely deletes porn if you report it so I know they are not going to delete just one story because Ryan Stevenson "reported it." "Outlandish posts" isn't even a Facebook definition.

This is typically a response that you would get back from Facebook for reporting something you don't like. That fake Hebron story would get a response like this. It clearly states a video or photo and nothing about an 'outlandish post' from a 'fake' page. If that other page was fake then why didn't Facebook take it down because it is clearly still online.

Thanks for letting us know about something you think may go against our Community Standards. Reports like yours are an important part of making Facebook a safe and welcoming environment.

In this case, we reviewed the profile you reported and found that it doesn't go against our Community Standards.

Note: If you see something on someone's profile that shouldn't be on Facebook, be sure to report the content (ex: a photo or video), not the entire profile. This will help us review your report more accurately.

This is the "distraction" post from the Ryan Stevenson Wicomico First Alert page. The sad thing is there are people now commenting on Ryan's post as if he is the honest one.

Please be advised of a “fake” Wicomico First Alert Page posting completely outlandish posts. We report them, and eventually the posts are deleted. If you ever question the authenticity of a post, look at that page’s number of likes. We have 73k and they have 300-400.

In reference to Ryan Stevenson's claim of a "fake" Wicomico First Alert page and the "outlandish" post, I would highly recommend you do a screen capture if you use his information next time.

So, where is the story? The alert went out to volunteers, so it's not just made up online, it went through the emergency alert system.
