MSP Press Release On Pohanka Bomb Threat

On November 16, 2017, the Maryland State Police, Salisbury Barrack, was alerted to the threat of a bomb placed in an undisclosed location on the premises of Pohanka’s Nissan dealership.  Troopers, responded to Pohanka Nissan to search for the explosive device. However, there was no explosive device found.

It is believed the call was generated via computer, referred to as a robo-call, and the case has been closed.
