Lowereasternshorenews Exclusive Breaking News! City Of Salisbury Files Major Lawsuit Against Station 13

After many months of back and forth, the City Of Salisbury has now filed a Major Lawsuit against The Breakaway Station One group that formed Station 13. Cory Polidore and his other conspirators are all names in the lawsuit shown above

need more information, what is the reason for the lawsuite

Anonymous said...

All I can say is this is ridiculous. I do not understand why “leaders” cannot sit down and come to a logical solution. This is perfect example of egos getting in the way of what’s best for the citizens. Way to go Salisbury, there needs to be some new leadership who can get things done and not start frivolous lawsuits to get their way.

Anonymous said...

and when is court date

Anonymous said...

look up what a declaratory judgement is its not a major law suit

Anonymous said...

Anon 9:23 There is leadership and the problem is being solved legally. Mayor Day is leading the way in recovering funds that were appropriated for the use of the Salisbury Fire Department. The group of Renegades that were separated from the City left with the belief that $ 450,000 of tax dollars belonged to them. These individuals believed that those funds were their personal property. Nearly 10 months later they have blown through most of those funds and are nearly broke. The purchases of used 25 year old antique fire engines, used radios, Hurst tools and a $ 3000 a month building lease to respond to absolutely nothing. Chicken BBQ's and Bingo haven't been the cash cow needed to build The Empire of No Rules FD. Quite simply, if Station 13 wanted to leave and start their own Fire Company then they should have raised their own funds. Lots of companies begin with start up funds, but there comes a time where the loan has to be paid back. Well now is the time. It will be painfully clear now that Mr. Polidore has led the Renegades down the wrong road. Family businesses and personal relationships have taken a hit and will never be the same. I imagine the question today will be "Was it Really Worth it ?"
I'm pretty sure the answer will be No.

Frozen assets and a forensic audit will answer those burning questions and reveal where the money went. You cant run a Bingo without any cash. You cant fight City Hall with depleted funds. Your private bank is 2 million dollars short in annual revenue. Where do you turn now ? Not a pretty picture if your a member of Renegade FD.

Fat Jack said...

Quite a surprise to see the Delmar Jackass hasn't posted anything about this case. The Blow Hard has been on board with the Renegades since Day 1. I'll bet he'll have a complete MSNBC version of the story and support they're sorry behinds

Anonymous said...

Finally an effort to get my tax dollars back in the hands of responsible people away from those crooks. Just go away! Palidore (spelled with "A" as the 2nd letter LOL) has led some halfway decent people down a road of destruction with promises he can't fulfil. What's the total that have jumped ship to come back now a dozen maybe? I say good for those who've seen the light. Palidore you are a true idiot if I ever saw one.

Bill N. said...

Polidore's nickname is "Pile a dog shit"

Anonymous said...

First name on the list is the problem

Anonymous said...

Just go away assclowns. Guess old Chuckie will be praying to God again for “guidance”. This scam of a FD needs to get shut down once and for all. They have wasted enough money already. Maybe their no jackpot bingo will help with legal fees! Hahahahaha

Anonymous said...

Rumor mill has Palidore asking for full time employment with Ocean City rather than a part time seasonal employee. Probably not going to happen he's damaged goods now nobody will take him not around here anyway.

Bill N. said...

Foskey ran his family business in the ground now he's on FB everyday praying for god to save the day. Him and the boy are to stupid to work in a pie factory sweeping floors. Don't imagine there is work out there for people who don't get out of bed till 11A.M. after hanging out at the fire station till 3A.M.

Anonymous said...

I'm not thinking bingo will be to profitable with a 25-30 head turnout kind of spinning your wheels for nothing. Those chicken BBQ's back in the summer didn't look to profitable either. When I rode by there was always a guy sleeping under the tent guess you'd have to wake him up first.

Anonymous said...

Word on the street is a few names on this lawsuit have applied to other county fire stations and been denied. Anyone else heard that?

Bill Bates said...

Haha I can tell you this I've already made sure AA County knows about it. In fact I printed it out and laid in on the right persons desk first thing this morning. Then emailed it to everyone under the sun.

Anonymous said...

Is this mess still going on? Let me guess, Drunk Bob is rolling around in this again? Come on Wicomico County. Get your ish together and put a stop to this waste of time & money. That crowd should be arrested anyway for impersonating a legitimate organization with all of their fund raising schemes. Chicken BBQ’s & Bingo. What’s the money going for? This is a scam in its purest form.

Ha Ha Ha 12:44 Fat Jack....you know little A$$BURROW is having a hissy fit (like Liarton) he and Culver probably meeting in the back room at Sloppy Joe's downtown to form an announcement on his blog.....their world is tumbling down...Heath getting ready to boot Culver and then the unity will prevail and "little turd" won't have a thing to publish except his cut and paste articles!!!! Ha Ha Ha

@ Anonymous
Two of the 13 group applied at my station and were denied membership. We require a letter in good standing when coming from another department written by the fire chief which they could not provide.

Anonymous said...

Young Elliot applied to Parsonsburg, young Foskey applied to Fruitland both were rejected and for good reason. Problem children are not wanted.

Anonymous said...

The exodus has alr already begun. This operation is crumbling. Tired of the lies and bullshit that Cory spews. And Chuck & Eric are dumb as a bag of hammers.

Anonymous said...

They’ll be licking Hoppes boots before long wanting back in SFD. And Cory...I know you’re reading this. Save yourself the trouble looking for full time in OC. Ain’t happening dude. You couldn’t get a job washing ambulances here now. In fact, your flirting sexual advances towards nurses has gotten old. I know a couple guys that are just waiting for a chance to bust your goofy chops.

Anonymous said...

13 Doesn't have a fire chief to start with only an idiot with a title.

Anonymous said...

If any department takes the non problem children they will still have to train them to be firemen but at least in the right environment they will learn and be of benefit. Face it station 1 never had any firemen just people wearing costumes.

Anonymous said...

Word is out on Palidore how embarrassing must he feel around his co-workers. He is the laughing stock right now of AA County fire department how proud he must be.

Anonymous said...

Foskey's life revolved around the volunteer fire company all these years always coming before his work or family now what's he going to do? The family business his parents worked hard to build is all but gone Chuck's on facebook looking for work to keep his crews busy. Just another silver spoon child that's never grown up with every toy you could imagine boats, motorcycle, trucks, lots of cash good god.

Anonymous said...

Reading these comments I have to laugh. Yes, we were all promised the world by Cory, the Elliott’s and the Foskeys. Shame on me for listening to them. I resigned. Nothing but lies and promises not kept. Hopefully i can get back onboard with SFD if they will take me. I have learned a valuable lesson dealing with and listening to these guys. It’s sad for the people that have been led on. Not that there are that many that are capable now of being active firefighters. It’s mostly a group of old guys who won’t ever respond. Some of us finally saw the light. Some are still drinking Cory’s Kool Aid.

Anonymous said...

JT: why is this still going on? Can you weigh in? Is this strictly a Bob Culver issue? What’s the real deal?

Anonymous said...

Funny thing is the only ones that resigned are the ones that never responded in the first place.

Anonymous said...

I'm in 6 and I can tell you Elliott didn't apply just 2 so far have Johnson and cooper

Anonymous said...

Wow you would never make out to be a good investigator. First of all it’s two t’s at the end of Elliott and secondly “young Foskey” has not applied to any other fire department.

Anonymous said...

Fact is that Station 16 still can’t get out under 20min and Station 2 well still not responding two pieces out. So, how’s their response statistics for volunteers not the career crews responding for them?

Anonymous said...

Wow someone is green with envy! Do tell how you are so much better then other people?

Anonymous said...

Gaije you at it again? You never responded to begin with so how are you a fireman again?

Anonymous said...

Your point being?? His employer can't do anything about it. It is a private matter.

Anonymous said...

Damage control boys are out I see.

Anonymous said...

Hey Eric! Welcome! Feel free to enlighten us some more!!! I’m sitting here on th me edge of my seat!

Anonymous said...

Are saying he doesn't have a target on his back?

Anonymous said...

Mark my words this time next year he will not be working for AACFD

Anonymous said...

Culver should be a defendant, too. This situation would not have happened if Bobbyboi had not promised to get them $300,000 and a service territory.

And imagine how much worse it would be if John Cannon and the County Council has not said NO loud and clear.

Anonymous said...

Anon 10:37 Its not a major lawsuit. I beg to differ. All of OUR MONEY here at Station 13 has been frozen and they want us to pay it back. How are we suppose to run our Bingo ? Pay a $3000 a month lease on our Club House ? Pay for the two antique Sutphen Pumpers we bought ? Along with the broken down worn out ambulance and yellow Rescue Truck that sits along the fence for months at Foskeyville ? We've bought used radios off Ebay and had to buy the P 25 compliant parts to hear anything. We've got $30,000 shelled out in used Hurst tools that we bought at convention. We've got Play Stations and X Box to pay for and Pull Tabs for Bingo. We cant run this Imagination Station without money and how are we suppose to sell all this junk that we've bought. Big Daddy Doric cant help us since Holloways dropped him. Members are bailing on us and interviewing with Chief Hoppes. Heck we only had two members to run Bingo last week. Looks pretty Major to me Anon 10:37. The wheels are coming off this train. Thanks Corey for the mess you created.

The money in question was allocated to the volunteers of Station 1 in the form of a grant. It is not Jake Day's or Rick Hoppes' money so quit wasting tax dollars and STFU since you don't know what you are talking about!

November 22, 2017 at 4:42 PM

I was at the Mayor's State of the City Address and he bragged that the Salisbury Fire Department's response time is 100%!!

Can anyone confirm that this is a lie. Look at the copied comment? Jake Day is lying about the SFD's response times.

Anonymous said...

Anon 11:42 and 11:49 Eric and Chuck. The money was in the form of tax dollars appropriated by State and Local for the use of the Salisbury FD to operate and handle emergencies in their district. Station 1 just happens to be their station. Your now defunct corporation was merely the business module which the money was dispersed to and through. I don't believe the name on your birth certificate reads Salisbury Fire Department so it was no appropriated to you personally. As for the Mayors comment that would be correct. The department has not missed a call since the Renegades left. Even you can comprehend that a previous failure rate of over 50 % does not compare with 100 % of calls handled. Nobody said Station 2 was not getting out regularly. The statement was 100 % of calls were handled. I know your small minds are turning 100 mph dreaming of a way to spin the facts. The facts re simple. Your services are not missed. The department is bigger than you as an individual and has survived. You chose the route you have taken and it has failed. Your minions have wasted funds allocated for the Salisbury FD and now its time for you to return what you took.

Anonymous said...

It takes a Special kind of Stupid to continue this mascaraed. These misfits have been defeated at every level and cant respond to anything. Yet they still hold Bingos and face painting to make barely enough to pay the electric bill. Their senior members lose nearly 2 million in their family business and face expulsion from a national Union and yet they still come back for more. I guess they were dumber than I thought.

Anonymous said...

11:42 & 49 Its clear that your still holding on to the belief that tax dollars are your personal property. Thats the mind set that got you into this mess to start with. If a judge ruled in June that fire trucks purchased with tax dollars don't belong to you, its a safe bet that those same monies don't belong to you. It prove the point that I've always said. Money is the root of all evil. To you money was power and a way to influence decisions by the past Chiefs to get what you wanted. Those days are over.

Anonymous said...

Your a real fucking brother, Fire fighters eat thier own.

November 22, 2017 at 9:21 PM

Yes they do and the meal started in February when you clowns started this mess. Thanks to your stupidity theres been no shortage of things to eat.

Anonymous said...

We do not want him in Ocean City you all can keep that problem all to yourself thank you.

Anonymous said...

He is the most hated person in both Sfd & AACFD by far. Mr. Palidore has done all of this to himself leading others astray in the process. He is the one eating others therefore he's being eaten a live rightfully so.

AAFF31 said...

Listen to what I say. When Palidore and Dixon are chunked out of the IAFF Palidore will have so many charges coming at him he will be terminated quickly. Females ring any bell's Cory?

Anonymous said...

Volunteer response at all three stations has dropped off to nothing in the last five years. Zero leadership within the volunteer ranks anyone.

Anonymous said...

Responded where? 13 has never been dispatched and will not be! To date I know if right that wish to rejoin SFD that are decent people.

Anonymous said...

Don't blame Palidore for everything he's had plenty of help from Dixon in the matter. Good ole sneaky Joel Dixon riding the fence playing behind the scenes as usual. Dixon is nothing but a sneaky little lying bastard in my book. Thats ok he too has his coming.

Anonymous said...

And how is the mayor lying? Duty crews immediate response where is the question? Staffed apparatus responds immediately when dispatched don't see how that can be disputed. Be it volunteer or career it's impossible to best a staffed rig.

Bob Ferguson said...

You goofballs are so delusional. Grant? Those funds were to be used for Fire & Rescue Services. Not for haphazardly buying TV’s, Xbox’s and other frivolous crap. Wasting money on apparatus that is 25+ years old? You asshats were in such a hurry to acquire anything and everything you could without any regard, just so you could say, look - we have equipment to respond. This entire ordeal has been a huge scam and the tax paying citizen has footed the bill for this mess. Polidore and the rest of these idiots should be made to be responsible for this blatant waste of money. I hope the City is able to at least get a judgment against all of the morons named in this suit. You all are about to reap what you have sown.

Anonymous said...

Anybody want to take bets on how far Little Foskey’s chest is poked out reading these comments? Happy Thanksgiving!

Anonymous said...

That one boy run his mouth 80 mile-n-hour about 4wd pickup truck what motors is in them and the rear ends

Anonymous said...

Polidore and Dion both have charges against them through the IAFF. Polidore is in your face with his actions and Dixon is his usual sneaky two faced self. Either way there is enough evidence to throw them out of the IAFF. There is no protection for either one once stripped of Union protection. So when Polidore gets caught having sex on the job for the third time its lights out. Career Suicide just like the Grave Digger and for what ?

Anonymous said...

It is a shame to see that Slime Ball Culver isn't named in the suit. After all he is as much to blame as anyone. He promises them the world and strokes their Anti-City egos into breaking away. He cheerleads them through the circus known as the County Farmins and Chiefs Association only to watch them fail at every turn. After all he is the county exec and should be responsible for county funds. Not the case. Just a polished turd in a suit that has failed in every business venture he ever touched. The great news is that he will be voted out by Jack Heath and the turd will be flushed.

Anonymous said...

Or they could’ve bought equipment like Salisbury that has to be repaired every week? Yeah Truck 1 OOS Truck 2 transferred to Station 1. Like three times a month. The twins hahaha how do you wear out two engines at once? How is 16 going to pay for theirs as it is? Station 2 ha no shows! 26 min to get a tanker on a house fire? What a great example!

Anonymous said...

Duty crew response times were at 91% not 100% why is this? You are there no lack of time to hook, slide, and endanger public responding to get to the Firehouse!

Anonymous said...

3:32,

What about Culver?

Anonymous said...

Spawn of Satan
Please review the Fire Service Agreement form 2005, which controlled those funds you walked out and blew. Clearly states the funding for each of the 3 volunteer corporations were part of the repayment to the city for services. Jonathan get a copy of it and post it for the boys the read and weep.

Anonymous said...

Nothing yet on A-hole's blog

Anonymous said...

Albero is not going to report about this lawsuit, but the Daily Times and Independent probably WILL. Lets see if they mention Culver's involvement in the farce. He is responsible because he promised to give Cory's Clowns county funding and a territory for them to pretend to be firemen. His actions should cost him reelection if they are reported in the media. Thank goodness the County Council refused to go along and prevented more loss of taxpayers funds.

The fire chiefs don't look good in this mess but they are not running for reelection like Culver.

Anonymous said...

So what you are saying is that the 2005 fire service agreement was in direct violation of federal and state laws by saying that the three recognized corporations are dummy corporations for the city to get extra funds? Then, it would have been an illegal contract since they knew what they were doing. It was found illegal that the city held the checkbooks and funds before how is it legal if it is the same way?

Anonymous said...

10:53,

Assboro's response to the lawsuit has been posted. He's throwing mud at SFD for not doing a Thanksgiving free food event -- and according to him it's because they are paid, so they don't care about others and can't do things like that. But, no mention whether the station 13 bozos gave away any of their chicken or if the volunteer companies in Wicomico County or Worcester, where he now resides, did anything. And no mention whether he or his pal Culver did anything of that kind.

Anonymous said...

Always amused to watch the post here when the Back Yard Lawyers from Independent Co proclaim some sort of proclaimed Loophole they've found to justify their cause. Facts are facts. The fire department has continued on and service is being provided. Governing bodies and citizens have declared they are not needed. Money greases the wheel and the Renegades are low on grease and what little grease they have will be taken back.

Anonymous said...

JT,

How about putting this post at the top for today!

Anonymous said...

11-23-17 10:53pm

Low Life Albero has allowed a ridiculous post up on his site, about how some fire department gave out turkeys to needy families, and is asking why Salisbury's fire department didn't do something like that. The only reason that the post was put up, was to try and start sh** against Salisbury's fire department, so ignorant comments/lies could get posted. Just because Jonathon put something up regarding the law suite against the station 13 group, Albero's site has to come back, trying to trash the fire dept. Doesn't Albero ever get tired of spreading lies about others? He is a mentally sick person.

Anonymous said...

Who feed those folks the other 364 days???? They are probably receiving EBT funds already!!!!

Anonymous said...

Jon-

Culver has gone nuts. Look at what he wants:

$5 million for projects at the Salisbury-Ocean City: Wicomico Regional Airport, $1.2 million for roof repairs and other work at the Department of Corrections, $3.3 million for improvements to the public library and $6.3 million for a new academic building at Wor-Wic Community College.

Other funds in the plan are $300,000 for a water and sewer master plan and $450,000 for a Pirates Wharf master plan.

The airport has become a huge money pit -- the county just transferred another $200,000 to it for expenses, and that makes much more than 1/2 million in the past few years. How can a plan for Pirates Wharf cost almost that much -- and why can't the County Exec and his branch do that for next to nothing?

Who else is going to pay for a $6.3 million new academic building at Wor-Wic, which is a multi-county facility, and is it even needed?

You gotta hope that Jack Heath or someone else beats Culver in the election next year.

Anonymous said...

Albero is a psychopath with a keyboard. Also, he trashes everyone on the Shore, but his come-here family is nothing but low life people; debtors, petty crooks, etc.

Anonymous said...

Hey Cory,

What do you think of Culver and Albero now?

Anonymous said...

It's hard to feel sorry for those Station 13 buffoons who want to play fireman, and Culver led them down the primrose path with help from Albero and Polidore. But they should have known better.

Anonymous said...

Mr. Taylor,

Congrats on another significant scoop about Salisbury/Wicomico matters. Please keep the focus here rather than Somerset County.

Anonymous said...

The county council should check how much has been spent transferring the 911 addresses.

Anonymous said...

1:32 PM,

The airport is in free fall and will soon crash and burn, taking a lot of taxpayer dollars with it. The passenger count continues to decline, and the County is now subsidizing what is supposed to be a business "enterprise".

Now Culver wants to blow 5 Million more.

Anonymous said...

5 million for what at the airport? A new tower?

They can do as they please with the lacy fund .Oh and the big picture the city locked them out the 22nd of Feb which means they have no more control after that day . The city is money hungry

Any idea why this legal action has not been covered in the local news media? Are they covering for Culver just like Albero?

Anonymous said...

Speaking of the airport wasn’t the plan that Station 13 was suppose to takeover airport rescue firefighting at the airport? Now culver has hired the company Fiore Industries from New Mexico to take over what Station 13 agreed to do. How much money is Culver paying this out of state company to do fire coverage at the airport. A wboc reported on this and said the new airport fire chief was going to hire 12 fire fighters at the airport. What does the airport need12 firefighters for. I found the County advertising bid for airport fire fighting on the County web page and the bid tabulation sheet is blank. What is Culver hiding that no one knows how much tax dollars are being spent on an out of state company to sit at the airport.

Anonymous said...

Culver has always made a fool of himself. He said he was a conservative and would guard county money - our money. However I see what's going on up close. I have a lot of dealings with county workers at the civic center and every time I show up there they have a new employee. Now it appears as though they have hired RG3 as a program director. Always seems to be a lot of people around without much to do. Where is the conservatism?

9:48,

Go back under your rock. This is another Culver f-up from the get-go. He promised them money and an area to handle that resulted in "all of this".

Lets thank the county council, except John Hall, for standing strong against Bobbyboi when they were being blasted by certain fire chiefs and Albero/Crowe.

Anonymous said...

this waste of taxpayer money is nothing compared to what the rec and parks pays for foolishness such as scavenger hunts while employees are on the taxpayer dime. culver was at the meeting at the civic center and obviously approved of this bull shit

Anonymous said...

I don't care who becomes the county executive but I do think the county should recover the tables, chairs, and curtains that were stolen from the civic center. These items were stolen right from under the noses of "supervisors". With 4 supervisors per worker this stuff should never happen

Anonymous said...

scavenger hunts and moral committees wont work. too late for that nonsense. how about doing some work for a change. u know, like what us taxpayers r paying for

Anonymous said...

Culver needs to find out who the hell was driving a county truck with number 6 on it this morning. This fool ran a red light and almost killed me and my family by rt 13 and Naylor mill rd. The county should probably have a driving school for those without a high school diploma.

Anonymous said...

What seems interesting in all of this is how a wicomico county deputy sheriff seems to be constantly caught up in this. Makes quite a few threats and promises regarding station 13; as I hear it. Little conflict of interest for this particular SFD so called volunteer??? Might want to stick to riding your harley davidson cop-mobile there Farva. You and Jake Day must be team "ram-rod".
