JT,

Assboro, Culver's mouthpiece, is already trashing Mr. Heath, so you can bet Bobbyboi is scared. As an independent, Jack could get that block, plus most Dems. and a lot of us Reps. who are sick of Culver.

I've known Jack for awhile and can say that his kids and grandkids won't be put on the County payroll like Culver's kids have. Jack has my vote.

Jon,

How about helping out with the petition, please.

Good person and great decision maker!

Once again....evsry thread gets some sort of an anti-Albero rant. Dude, you really need some professional help.

Is there not going to be a Democratic challenger?

Anonymous said...

How many signatures needed and by when?

Anonymous said...

I'm gonna laugh my ass off when he doesn't even make the ballot and Culver runs unopposed!

Anonymous said...

Umm... Bob and Joe are joined at the hip and have been ever-since that skid-mark darkened the streets of Salibury. Perhaps you need professional help in the common-sense department.

2:04--

Haven't you been paying attention? Joe Albero is already trash-talking about this man, in hopes his blindly-following audience will believe him. It sickens me how that man conducts himself & sells it as news. His buddy Culver got into office because people were tired of Pollitt, but know a lot of people that would now gladly take Pollitt since Culver has shown his true colors. Sound familiar? Bush/Obama.

1:57 "Great decision maker"? So you think Jake Day & his council president have made GOOD decisions? No way..... he can't run the city; hope he doesn't TRY to run the entire county. Please people, is this the best we can get?

If Democrats really want to bounce Culver, they will not field a candidate and vote for Jack Heath in the general election next November. And right now they should be signing his petition, along with Republicans that, like me, can't stand Culver.

Please tell us where and when we can sign the petition.

Mr. Heath,

You will certainly campaign hard for Democrat votes, and that makes a lot of sense. But don't campaign with Josh Hastings, who is running for what will probably be an open seat in the district that John Hall now represents.

Hastings is a lying clown, and for each vote you might get in that district for being seen as together politically, you will lose at least 10 in the rest of the county.

My son said A$$BURROW had one of his minions post on something that nothing would be right until A$$BURROW ran for elected office and won (he is feeding them that damn cool-aide again)....Ha Ha Ha He remembers the ass kicking that Liarton put on him....if he couldn't beat him the little blowhard surely couldn't win against ANYBODY!!!!! The only thing A$$BURROW does effectively is hit the DELETE key on folks you post something contrary to his agenda!!! LOL

Yes. I have been paying attention. This thread is about Mr. Heath. It is not about Culver or Albero. We should be hearing about the qualities and qualifications that demonstrate why he would be a good executive. Harping on that he is not Culver and that he is not Albero's pick is not enough to get him elected. That is the tactic that was tried in the last election and it was epic fail. If you want Jack Heath to win, you have to demonstrate issue by issue why he is the better candidate. This mindset that all you have to do is tie Culver to Albero and it will sink him is destined to fail.

Anonymous said...

Do you think for one minute that Albero actually wanted to win?

Anonymous said...

Again....were talking about Jack Heath and we have someone going off on some unrelated anti-Albero rant unrelated to the subject being discussed.aJT, do you want to be an anti-Albero blog or a blog that discusses important issues. It's your decision, of course. If you want to be taken seriously, you need to start censoring all the irreverent BS.

Unlike Culver, Mr. Heath pays his taxes when due. And he won't give county jobs to his kids.

Thanks Jack! It's always obvious who posts their own comments.

Jack Heath is a good person and has a reputable character. I think this would be a good change for Wicomico County. HAs my vote

Anonymous said...

Jack Heath will put some good people around him that contribute and complement his strengths and in the process give the office more performance and leadership. Mr Culver and his rag tag band are just in over their heads No leadership and little creativity.

Anonymous said...

Jack Heath has my vote and that of my families.

Very impressive indeed 12:33, but where is the experience to qualify him for a county executive. What has he done on the council to improve our life in Salisbury? Ditto 6:07. I'm not saying that our current executor ( I voted for ) was the answer, in my humble opinion he spoke like he would remove Strawberry and failed to do so.

7:58,

Jack's qualification for County Exec. tops Culver's by a ton. Plus, he pays his debts and taxes and won't put his children and friends on the county's payroll.

Anonymous said...

Without the support of a major political party, Heath has about a zero chance of winning the election. He needs to get about 8000 signatures to even make it on the ballot. I doubt if that will even happen.

Anonymous said...

9:36....obviously you don't get it. That's why I stated the current executor didn't meet the goals I supported him on. That still doesn't mean the candidate is a favorite. I have no experience at all and should run for something, if just the hills. That is our problem, we don't have quality in candidates, therefore we vote for the better of anything running. Take a look at the city, what a disaster unless you are just voting democrat. Sad times indeed. Humbly 7:58

Keep repeating yourself in muliple posts.

If Heath files as an independent candidate, he first needs to get the signatures of 1 percent of the 63,724 registered voters in Wicomico County, according to the State Board of Elections website.

That's 638 valid signatures.

Anonymous said...

Sounds easier than it is. The have to be registered voters with correct addresses. Pretty much have to bring in 1200 signatures to make that happen. Maybe 10 percent of the people asked will be willing to sign a petition. So you need to be able to contact 12,000 adults. This is not easy.

I hope someone else steps forward. I don't see a city resident getting much support in the county.
