The restaurant has only been closed for a few weeks, not months.
Anyway, great news to hear it will be reopened soon.

Bobby Cowger had nothing to do with that.

good news. Excited for the opening.

Can you keep the cops off of route 13 all they want to do is pull over cars. We have a serious burglary problem in the Homewood area. Whatever happened to foot patrol.

Lucky city to get the Mallards chef! Johnny Mo brings a fabulous Eastern Shore flare to every dish!

"Bobby Cowger is the greatest" and "Pokomoke" I believe both are are very very Wrong !!

Hold on to your wallets, those of you that thought Russ Blake was a crook.

So in other words ..... more Sysco pre package crap ???

Anonymous said...

6:14....go back to A$$BURROW...Johnny Mo won't have any Sysco Foods!!!! Get your cup of cool-aide from "Little Joe"!!!

Must people turn this into a political post for trashing people?? How about we keep the focus on the restaurant and the new exciting restaurant offering coming to our great town.

City government has no business owning a restaurant. What are they going to own next? Gas stations? Convenience stores? Car dealerships?

Anonymous said...

8:34 they might as well own them versus the towel heads!!!!! You must not frequent any quick stops lately......

Rachel Harris STFU. Didn't Culver fire you?

I agree. We all liked his dad, but Bobby and Randy. I'll pass!

Maybe the town should open a bank, grocery store they don’t belong owing something that competes with the public. It shouldn’t be to hard to get somebody in a new building and it has cheap rent

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Pocomoke is going to be a failure just like Bobby Cowger has been in life.

Damn that’s hard

You don't even live in Pocomoke so just mind your own business.

What were the educational requirements for Pocomoke's City Manager's position?? I know for a fact that Bobby Cowger doesn't even have a 2 year Associates Degree. He barely made it through high school. I know because I went to school with him and he was a clean cut red neck. Barely passed any classes.

"The job posting seeks a “progressive visionary leader with a strong, service-oriented approach to managing municipal operations.”
The position requires candidates to be seasoned professionals, with at least 10 years of experience in a comparable role, who are “engaged and visible within the community.”"

The only thing Bobby Cowger qualified for was the "Progressive" part because he is definitely a Progressive Democrat.

Pocomoke might be able to come back if they buy up all the properties around down town from the river all they way to 8th street and level them all and start over.

Last time I checked route 13 goes through the Pocomoke and is part of their jurisdiction. How about locking your shit up and investing in an alarm system instead of relying on the police. At any given time there may only be two or three cops on duty for the whole city. They cant be everywhere all the time.People need to start doing their part in this and help themselves instead of bitching about the police. I think they are doing an excellent job in the city.

There's a reason I stay off these sites. The comments left on here are nothing but trash and serve no positive purpose and in my opinion consist of a bunch of nasty cowards who are willing to talk trash but not willing to stand behind it by using their name. But since I can't help but correct complete misstatements, I will respond to two comments made directly about/to me, then I will likely never check this site again.

First, Bob did not fire me. I still work for the county and as far as I know Bob and I have always had a good working relationship. I am now proud to serve in the State's Attorney's office and continue to serve the county as best I can.

Second, whoever made the comment that I don't live in Pocomoke is ignorant. I have lived in Pocomoke since I was seven years old. I moved to Crisfield for a few years after I married my wonderful husband then moved back to Pocomoke when the housing market changed enough that we could afford it. Welcome to the story of my life, since you seem to want to discuss it. I can only imagine the rude things you'll come up with to attack from this bit of info.

I love my town, I love my job, and I hate negativity. Honestly I'm sorry I even shared the post because I'll certainly never share anything else from the website. I'm going to go on living my life and saying an extra prayer of thanks that I have better things to do than reading a bunch of people tearing each other apart behind their 'anonymous' posts.

PEACE.

You do not live in the Town of Pocomoke and pay city taxes to Pocomoke. Just because you live in the Pocomoke area with a 21851 zip code does not mean you live in Pocomoke City. Now get over yourself.

PEACE

So!

Tell her to mind her own business! She is not a resident of Pocomoke City Maryland so she should say a prayer for lying.

Anonymous said...

The STATE police have NEVER conducted “foot patrol”. Educate yourself before looking like a stupid asshole.

Anonymous said...

If you “stay off these sites”, then how the hell did you see these comments? Typical bullshit liar. If you “stay off these sites” (YOUR words, not mine) then why were you here in the first place?!?

Anonymous said...

No one ever said she wasn’t a “good person”. Show me where ANYONE on here said that. The comments that I saw told her to “STFU” which isn’t questioning her character or saying she is a bad person. The person ASKED A QUESTION “didn’t Culver fire you?” She answer and and clarified. The other person said “you don’t even live in Pocomoke” and told her to “mind your own business”. Again, NEITHER comment said or inferred, in any way, that she isn’t a “good person”.

Anonymous said...

An anonymous person vouching for someone’s character and integrity? Yeah, I’ll immediately believe that and accept it on face value.

Anonymous said...

Well said Rachel! Please forgive the ignorant comments!

Most every restaurant has to deal with a distributor such as Sysco and believe it or not you can get quality fresh product through Sysco. You get what you pay for and while they may not get all their product from them I can almost assure you a good majority of their product will come via a distributor such as Sysco or Us Foods. This doesn’t mean it’s not good or fresh

Bobby Cowger is the biggest loser of all time...wait til you see how he runs Pocomoke City into the poor house. Whoever said it was right he has nothing on Russ Blake and Russ used to be the biggest thief..Bobby ran his own finances into the ditch, hence filling bankruptcy, he lost his home and screwed his creditors, its where Pocomoke is going to go right to the poor house...residents get out while you have something worth selling...don't wait! Lastly, when you look at the council there really is only one member that has any class and genuine concern for the people then anyone of them so Bobby fits right in...poor Pocomoke city and it's good residents. Folks vote the council right out, it is a start!

Way to go Rachel. People will always hate so just like you said, "I'll go on living my life and saying an extra prayer of thanks."
