Why was it necessary to drive a huge firetruck to the meeting?
Couldn't they have come in a small vehicle?

Oh hope FAKE NEWS A$$BURROW GETS THIS.....he is running Day down as liar over the tickets.....if they were parked illegally they deserve the ticket. Stalag 13 is NOT a registered FD therefore their apparatus can not be either!!!!

Funny, there were complaints about it that night. Actually, the fire guys said it was an immature and ignorant act by Salisbury and also said Strausburg said he'd take care of the tickets.

Irony-ripping the SFD every chance you get about using fire engines and trucks for non-emergency purposes claiming they should use a utility vehicle and then getting ticketed while using your own fire engine for non emergency use when you could have used a utility vehicle.

NO PARKING......what the hell does it mean?????? I want to know so when I utilize that space for parking I want the City or County to take back my ticket!!!!! Bunch of retards must not be able to read......

Notice the open space next door at the Verizon building or god forbid they parked at the state office building 1/2 a block away and walk to the meeting. Aren't they fit firefighters?

Are there any updates close pictures of the ticket, you know, for REAL proof. I asked that on Joe Trollberos blog and he wouldn't post it.

Tickets were the real deal issued by "Bull" who patrols the downtown area. He issued them on his own then afterwards decided it was the wrong thing to do went back and removed the tickets. The man is doing his job but I give him lots of credit for thinking about it then coming back to remove the tickets. Thank you Bull for removing the tickets!

I don't go to "DelMarVa's Premier Source for News" except occasionally for fun. Has he posted anything yet about Wilber telling the County Council that the fire agreement that he drafted and Culver negotiated does not provide for any services by Station 13 or territory for it?

And has he posted anything yet about "Liar Bob" dropping Station 13 like a POS when the City threatened to sue if Culver made Dave Shipley start sending then 9-9-9 calls.

Or maybe Bull should think before he acts .
And isn't the no parking so fire ems can access areas?

Most people don't know the real story. The Mayor actually came by and saw them He said if they felt uncomfortable they could remove the tickets.

So the Mayor can Trump SPD but Culver says he can't similarly Trump an action by Lewis?
Someone needs to explain that one

It's simple, the Salisbury PC is an appointed employee, the Sheriff is an elected official and doesn't answer to Mr. Culver.

Those vehicles were not parked there to render fire or ems services, and the tickets were appropriate. They should be enforced. Nobody is above the law.

7:50,

You nailed it with "Liar Bob". It fits like a glove. JT should use it in his posts.

By using their apparatus to attend the meeting in Salisbury, those vollies from elsewhere were actually jeopardizing the safety of folks in the area they they serve.

But I forgot, Station 13 could have covered for them. NOT

Actually meant the authority to suspend or dismiss citations. The relationship is more equal when you consider the prosecuting authority is same

Who cares... the only people who get tickets downtown are civilians. I watched a big, grey haired, over weight, rent-a-cop downtown talking to a city employee right next to their expired meter. I watched Kevin, the fire marshall (I believe that's what his shirt said, park without putting money in just yesterday. This was done out of spite only, as if were a city apparatus, no way would he even look at it.

This Kevin works for and parks in the COUNTY parking lot that the County allows the City to have meters in. No County Department car should have to put quarters in their own parking lot when the vehicle is clearly marked AND has a parking tag in the window. Did you happen to notice those things Shirt Reader?

9:14 He was not in a county vehicle, nor a county lot. He went into a local print business, and parked across the street. Sad days when citizens put up with the abuse from public sector workers. Lazy citizens, lazier workers.
