Salisbury says no to 'ridiculous ' fire territory changes

Salisbury City Council members said they do not want to award territory to volunteer firefighters who broke away from the Salisbury Fire Department’s Station 1 and plan to abide by the fire service agreement with Wicomico County. Council President Jack Heath called efforts of County Executive Bob Culver to award an area outside the Salisbury Bypass to the firefighters “ridiculous.”

Good.Ridiculous is a good word for it.

I'm pretty sure that Salisbury has no say in what happens in Wicomico County.

Its been adequately covered for years....no need to "create" a post for those that didn't want to work with the City of Salisbury to begin with!!! Does nothing more than eat up additional funding!!!

Did this have anything to do with Boda apologizing to Culver on Facebook?

Anonymous said...

JT I was talking to someone in the Government Building yesterday afternoon and they said that Culver cussed out Muir Boda. Any truth to that? What did he say that upset Bob?

Anonymous said...

Wait a minute. I read somewhere where there wasn't a plan and no map territories. Was that fake news source I read?

Salisbury does not have any say as to what happens in the county just so you know. Jake Day might think he is that powerful, but he isn't.

Just heard that Bobbyboi confronted Muir Boda in the GOB today, called Boda a __ucking _sshole because of what he said at the meeting.

Bwahaha , bet that candy ass piece of shit culver is crying. Can he possibly make Wicomico county look any better than a bunch of inbred rednecks? Laughing stock of Maryland. Hope Hogan distances himself from this clown. Oh that's right, he has. Lmao.

Culver caught lying again -- this time about term limits:

Voted for him and now wish Pollitt had won.

JT,

Why post a photo of that smirking POS?

Jonathan,

Please check Culver's court records. I've heard that he's got multiple liens, including unpaid taxes.

Calling "Dr. Ennis", Culver meltdown in progress.

Now you can earn that pay raise!

9:21 I didn't vote for this clown, but, I'm sure if the truth were known a lot of folks feel exactly as you do!!!! Rick and the City of Crisfield seem to be doing just fine....

At the meeting, the Salisbury City Council voted to tell Culver to shove it where the sun don't shine, just like the County Council has already done on "Station 13" or whatever those rebel firemen call themselves.

Then, when Culver saw Boda he did a Scaramoochi, calling him filthy names in the lobby of the GOB. I doubt he will tangle with Jake Day.

Culver is a real disgrace to Wicomico County.

9:18,

Thanks for that heads up on term limits. Just read the Council's statement on the DT's website, and saw that Culver wants to extend the Exec's term to 6 years, which is illegal.

Culver better not look for little Joe to back him up if a fight breaks out...little Joe would be afraid that Sheriff Lewis would be there and open up a can of whupp ass on him!!!! Maybe Culver's and little Joe's buddy from Sloppy Joe's.....damn I meant Roadie Joe's....will help him??? ha ha ha

If the local republican poobahs are smart, they will start looking for someone besides Culver to run for County Exec. next year. How about Carl Anderton?

Anonymous said...

Culver also wants a bigger salary so he can pay his bills. What about that lawsuit by Bank of America?

Anonymous said...

At the City Council meeting, Mayor Day mentioned a letter to Culver from the County Council warning him not to tell those Station 13 clowns to handle calls. Can you get a
copy of that letter?

The County Council has also nixed Culver's BS, according to the Daily Times:

Monday night’s City Council discussion came about a month after Wicomico County Council President John Cannon called for a halt to a plan to award territory to the firefighters, saying such a move violates the fire service agreement with the city.

In a letter to Culver dated July 5, Cannon said the newly negotiated agreement does not include territory for the new Salisbury Independent Fire Company, which has since been designated as Station 13.

“Further, this agreement specifically states that the Salisbury Fire District may only be amended by agreement of the county, the city and the Wicomico County Chiefs Association,” he said.

You've got that wrong. The paid firemen from the top down didn't want to work with the volunteers.

Culver doesn't want term limits until he is out of office. The public doesn't want or care about term limits. Culver just knows his time is up and he doesn't want anyone else to be elected and do their jobs. He is jealous of everyone. He is jealous of the county employees because they have a retirement with benefits and that Fking Loser Bob Culver can't stand it. That is why he is trying to rape the county employees and take their benefits away from them because he hasn't any. Wayne Strausburg is working with Bob Culver to steal the county employees benefits as well. Another snake in the grass.

Bob Culver has been trying to rape the county employees since he took office. Ask the guy he fired for discussing the employee handbook on Facebook.

I am not defending that piece of shit Culver but give me a break when you say you doubt he will mess with Jake Day. LMAO

FakeNews has posted a picture of the fire service map. Clearly he's read the comments on Lower Eastern Shore News. So the territories been agreed upon by the city, County, and fire chiefs association. Neither wants to redraw the map and draft another agreement solely for the purpose of allowing a few crybabies to play fireman.

Sorry, but you are not telling the truth.

The paid fire station members have no problem AT ALL working with ANY volunteer that wants work with them. The group of volunteers that decided to walk away from the station#1, do not like to follow the rules that are set for all of the fire stations in Salisbury. They want to be able to do what THEY want to do, which is NOT best for the citizens.

Truth.

The city would be much better off with good volunteers and separating EMS from the Fire Department. Make it Salisbury EMS and they can handle all EMS, Rescue, Hazmat and Special Operations calls just like in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Just heard that Bobbyboi has bailed on those Station 13 clowns. What a fearless leader he is not!

Anonymous said...

12:17 I fully agree....if they don't want to solely fight fires and assist the community in times of disasters......then they need to quit!!!! No place for politics, no place for trying to coup the existing Fire Department structure within the City!!!! Protect the property and the people....that's it!!!!

Word on the street is Culver wised up dropping his support of the clowns. If he has or not the decision has been made it's over.

Anonymous said...

It looks like Flipper Culver flip flopped again and turned his back on the Station 1 volunteers and no longer supporting them after the City told Flipper to pack sand. Even Jimbo asked to pack it for him. Wink, Wink.

Well he hasn't told the Station 1 Volunteers because they said they are cancelling the Chicken BBQ today due to the rain storm and said "See you next week."

Yep he did and the coward made the county IT guy take down the county council's press release on Bob's lies about his press release on the term limits. Bob got busted so he is trying to hide the fact from the public.

Jonathon I was told by a good source today that Foskey has told station 13 he will move his business so his building can be used as a fire station (one block out of city limits). The inspection from the Maryland State Firemen's Association (MSFA) is very soon where they will be flat out found non operational. Sorry Chuck can't run a firehouse out of a pole building or a vault plant bud don't work like that. You chumps has been told no from every angle now give it up.
