Jim Ireton Makes It Official Will Run For Clerk Of The Court

Jim Ireton announced tonight he will be running for the Clerk of The Court job next year after Mark Bowen retires. I am gonna support Jim a thousand percent for this job. Think about it seriously. Jim gets this out of the way job he will out of politics and the entire area will be the better. I fully support Jim and he will have my vote next year.

Please, he has no qualification for that position, and there are going to be better candidates so why not wait to endorse someone?

Maybe Assburro can run against him and lose 92% - 8%

It's gotta kill Assburro to have to criticize Ireton, call him incompetent, and know that Ireton mopped the floor with him.

That's right Joe, you lost, you lost big time. You are a loser.

I can't believe that you actually said this. This is like rewarding someone for bad behavior. Ireton doesn't deserve this job and it certainly doesn't remove him from politics. This is an elected position so how does it remove him from politics? My bet is he will lose by a landslide.

Jonathan,

Stop, look and listen. He can cause much bigger problems for the public in that position than he will ever do as a low level politician.

He's only qualified for something as humane society....animal patrol?????

James “Bo” McAllister, an assistant state’s attorney in Wicomico County and James M. Bennett High School graduate, has filed to run for Clerk of the Circuit Court in next year’s election.

McAllister is familiar with the workings of the clerk’s office in the Wicomico County Courthouse because he files court papers there every day. He also is experienced in the new electronic filing system that is being phased in.

McAllister grew up in Salisbury and graduated from high school in 1999. His stepfather, John B. Robins IV, is an attorney in Salisbury. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from James Madison University and law degrees from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.

After practicing solo in California for a few years, McAllister took a job as assistant attorney general at Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, from 2012-2014. He then returned to Salisbury and has been in the State’s Attorney’s Office since October 2014.

Big deal....an announcement? Just throw a hat in the ring and go with it. We don't care, we can vote against you when the time comes, if you haven't changed your mind. That is this cat's M.O. Some low esteem boy's just need to be in the public view.

Just to be clear again...Bo McAllister is the best candidate and a good man. I just want Jim out of politics

We learned last year just how popular Ireton is outside of Salisbury. He will be slaughtered in a county election, probably in the primary and certainly in the general election.

Ireton know that he has no future in politics outside of Salisbury and that the BOE has enough complaints by parents and others to can him and will if he is no longer in office. This is his attempt to get a job that pays well for the future.

Jim Ireton doesn't have the temperament for any job in government (nor should he be allowed to teach). Just in the 6 times I've seen him in public (3 at official functions, 3 at Mojos/Roadie Joes), it's quite obvious he's a sexist, a bully, and throws childish temper tantrums. Plus, he's a complete embarrassment when he's drunk.

Ireton has no experience in the court system. He should even be considered for running for this position.

I will say this. I know Jim Ireton well. Like others I am an ex friend. He has made many enemies. First, he has used racist and sexist words in front of me and others. Two, he is getting desperate. Lurching from office to office. He will be running for three different offices in less than 3 yrs! He is in a spiral. The alcohol has been creaping up on him for years. The low self esteem x the booze x the sexual perversion will lead him right to state prison with his Daddy. Only court documents he will be handling are his own arrest papers! I will work vigorously to defeat him. Every step of the way. And remembee how good he is at handling employees! Loree Chambers ring a bell? That county will have lawsuit after lawsuit because of Ireton. No on Ireton!

I just saw the pic from Lyin Jim's twitter account. Look who were his supporters.

1) John Hall
2) Carolyn Hall
3) Ernie Davis
4) Sarah Meyers

You should go retrieve the pic and repost it.

Think about this. Do we as a public really want Jim Ireton to have access to all of our court records? This Miscreant can cause more problems to our citizens than he already has as the Mare of Salisbury!

Vote anyone but Ireton!

Will we have to go to Rehoboth Beach to file deeds and legal stuff if Ireton is elected?

I am glad to see a Republican has filed . BTW way my secretary is more qualified than BO. She has experience in filing office procedure data entry, customer service, ordering, records retention and archiving and any one can efile . Tell me this why would you leave your firm to work for an elected position? You may not be the next Mark and get 3 decades.
