JT keep your commenting like this.....it's not a issue for everyone but, some people due to their employment, that want to share information won't because some places take action against those who participates on social media. Not everyone is wealthy or self-employed so let's not forget those folks.
Ever here of Annon ?
Most commenters on this blog are flat out stupid.
Just what we need; more fat asses waddling around. They can waddle from there to Cracker Barrel and then to Wal-Mart.
You or someone posted a while back that there were over 500 current restaurant licenses in Wicomico County.Closer to 600 actually if I recall correctly.Shouldn't there be a cutoff # at some point, and wouldn't a limit be of benefit to those wanting to build new restaurants in our area?
Bad idea 909. Let the free market prevail. This is exactly the kind of govt micro management we don't need. If people don't want a restaurant or any other business they will go elsewhere, business shuts down. Limiting licenses would just tie up good business expansion with bureaucracy. SBY has lost businesses for that exact reason.
Absolutely thank you you're the only one that I've seen comment about the different restaurant issues and stuff in the industry in general.your comment is absolutely correct the issue that some people on the general public don't understand is that when there is a influx in restaurants the demand customers such as your chain restaurants they only hurt the local people and the ones who are working for them the most. Not to bring things up but just as a prime example let's take Friendly's and not to mention FUD ruckers. Why in heaven would you have a sit down restaurant be replaced by something like a McDonald's I've done the research on the impact not only socially but economically I will remain anonymous for the businesses that I've done it for however keep in mind there are two McDonald's in less then a 670 yard range both of those restaurants average an annual profit index margin right around $78,000 apiece that would mean that both of those establishments bring in roughly a quarter to a half $1 million a year The issue here is that not only would A smalltime single restaurant and they are called single because they are private Ly owned be able to compete with that kind of money because it is impossible to have that amount of customers enter and exit through your door with service and it can't physically be done in a time restraints even if you were a 20 for an hour diner. I would love to get in touch with you JT sometime I have a couple things regarding the different restaurants and something also having to do with the center at Saulsberry and some restaurants that are going to be there as well as something I discuss with you one time over the phone about things in Somerset County
