Aldi will be going in front of Planning and Zoning Board tomorrow to give their paleochannel site plan for review. This will bring construction one step closer pending this approval

Yay!!! This is a fantastic store. My daughter lives in Stafford Va. I shop at the one there.

Glad to hear it....can't wait!

It's just another grocery store for heaven sakes, and the named property is really not big enough to have a decent size store and adequate parking, making it an either or situation.Little store and big parking or big store and little parking.

give it a chance ^^^^

3:25. I don't know why they didn't contact you before going through all of the channels to make this happen. you obviously know more than the people who actually have stores that are currently operating. BTW, how many stores do you have?

is it gomming to salisbury?

4:25-I'm just guessing because of the size of the vacant convenience store currently on the property(unless it's already been torn down).I was told that the building size vs parking capacity would be almost the same as the old Delmar IGA back in the day.

Aldi is a wonderful grocery store. Good food and good prices even on produce and organic items. It's really not "just another grocery store." It's a smaller sized grocery store that will be good for the community.

Is anyone else getting sick and tired of Salisbury annexing the entire county. How can businesses survive paying city and county taxes and then county water and sewer. What about all the other county and city taxes.

More foreigners owning America.

The history of ALDI. In 1914, Anna Albrecht opened a small food store in the mining town of Essen, Germany, and by 1948, her sons took over the business and expanded to 4 locations. In 1954, they opened their first self-service store in Essen-Schonnebeck, a first in Germany.

Good luck entering and exiting during rush hour. Nice that it is located so close to the MSP Barrack. That way the troopers won't have to drive far to investigate the numerous collisions that will occur there.

They are not a huge chain box store..just a little grocery.

We have several Audi in our valley. The food is fresh and very inexpensive. Good quality. You are going to love it!
