Salisbury Police Investigating Armed Robbery

Two suspects remain at large as a result of an armed robbery that occurred late yesterday evening. On November 06, 2016 at approximately 11:45 p.m. Salisbury police officers responded to the Oceanic Gas Station located at 1312 N. Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, Maryland for a reported armed robbery. The sole male employee stated that two armed, masked suspects entered the store and demanded money. Further investigation revealed that upon entering the store the suspects were displaying handguns and immediately began demanding money. The suspects quickly walked behind the counter, engaged the victim and ordered him to lay on the floor. The suspects continued to demand money while pointing the handguns at the victim. The employee gave suspect #1 an un-disclosed amount of U.S. currency, while suspect #2 began filling a bag with store merchandise and the contents of the cash register. After obtaining the U.S. currency and store merchandise, the suspects fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. Both suspects were captured on store surveillance cameras during the robbery and they are pictured below. The victim did receive minor injuries as a result of the robbery and refused medical attention. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office K-9 assisted in the investigation, and conducted a K-9 track which did not reveal additional evidence. SUSPECT #1: Unknown race male, approximately 6’-00”, 160 pounds, wearing a mask covering his face, dark colored shirt, dark colored pants and in possession of a handgun. SUSPECT#2: Unknown race male, approximately 6’-03”, 170 pounds, wearing a mask covering his face, dark colored shirt, dark colored pants, carrying a large blue bag and in possession of a firearm.
