Dorchester County Sheriff Press Release


The Dorchester County State’s Attorney’s Bill Jones recently convened the Dorchester County Grand Jury for the purpose of seeking indictments on individuals identified by a joint investigation conducted by the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force, Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, Cambridge Police Department, Hurlock Police Department, Maryland State Police and several Federal agencies as being involved in illegal narcotics trafficking in Dorchester County and the surrounding area. On Monday, October 3, 2016 members of the involved agencies starting serving the indictments. The following suspects were arrested as a result of that combined effort;

Possession of Cocaine with intent to Distribute
Possession of Cocaine
5 counts of Possession of Paraphernalia
Held on $150,000.00 Bond
Diondray Lamar Demby B/M
1400 Glasgow Street, Cambridge, Md.
3 counts of Possession of Cocaine with intent to Distribute
2 counts of Possession of Cocaine
Possession of paraphernalia
Held on $250,000.00 Bond
Ta’Bron Latray Todd B/M
318 Railroad Ave. East New Market, Md.
Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute
Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of paraphernalia
Held on $250,000.00 Bond
Sheriff James W. Phillips Jr. stated that further arrests will be conducted in this on-going investigation.

Why didn't Bill Jones can't his judgeship when he applied? Who was working in his office at the time?
