This is really bad luck Tropical Storm Hermine hit during the Labor Day/Crab Derby.
Crisfield will miss the revenue usually produced during this event.
The city workers put in extra time cleaning streets, erecting tents, and sprucing up the Marina for the Crab Derby.
I'm sorry for the Crab Derby Chairmen and all the effort they put into making this year's Derby a success.
If you check the National Hard Crab Derby's facebook page, some of the events have been rescheduled for tomorrow. As of now the boat docking is still on, as well as the swimming, crab picking and Governor's Cup race.
This Marina grounds are hoping tonight at 6 p.m. for rides and vendors will be open.

Always a nice event for the City of Crisfield. The town always does a nice spruce up which carries over for visitors to the marina.
I heard the battery on your scooter went dead and you didn't want to walk in the parade.
I heard you wanted to be the Master of Ceremonies.
I can't wait to find out when they are going to fire Rick Pollitt!

Does suck that the revenue was lost BUT don't you think the city workers should be "sprucing up" and doing their best to keep your town clean we should take pride in where we live no matter the event or time of the year...
