Armed Robbery of Convenience Store

(PARSONSBURG, MD) – On Thursday, September 29, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m Troopers from the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack responded to the Quick Stop convenience store located at 7181 Parsonsburg Rd., Parsonsburg, MD to investigate a reported armed robbery

Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division Troopers were requested to assume the investigation. 

Initial investigation revealed an unidentified white male, wearing a black partial face mask, black gloves, gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans entered the Quick Stop brandished a knife and demanded money from the store clerk.

Police were contacted after the suspect fled on foot.  Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a
K-9 track.

Information from the investigation suggest the suspect may be connected to a light blue/silver, late 90’s, Ford Explorer, with unknown registration.  The vehicle was last observed traveling North on Parsonsburg Rd., away from the Quick Stop at a high rate of speed.
