BINGO!! The City of Salisbury is Stupid and should be held liable for being a partne in this crime of GREED!! Thes developers shop have never been able to build on top of wet lands like they have.

These were built in the 70's possibly before floodplain maps were available or sowed this area in the floodplain. Current maps do show units in the floodplain and the mortgage company should have required flood insurance (if a mortgage exists). I recall some of these units being flooded several years ago during a similar event. It is no secret that many of these units are in the floodplain. You would have to be crazy to repair these units knowing that it could happen again with a similar rain. Who would want to take that gamble? If I had insurance I would take the money and run. However, the mortgage company will likely take the money and the owner would be S..t out of luck.

There are owned in most cases with no flood insurance.
