5:30 p.m.
Downtown Visitor Center
110 N. Division St.
Downtown Salisbury

Salisbury – Mayor Jake Day is excited to announce that the Downtown Visitor Center will officially open to the public with a ribbon cutting ceremony this Friday.  Timed to coincide with August’s 3rd Friday celebration, the ribbon cutting will be a community-centric, family event with food, games, fun and cool Salisbury-branded merchandise available for the first time!

The Downtown Visitor Center is a centrally located hub for business development, marketing and tourism-oriented materials, and a place where participants and attendees of Downtown events can go to congregate and purchase a tee shirt, hat, water bottle, or keychain.  The Visitor Center also houses the offices of the City’s Business Development Specialist and the Arts and Entertainment District Executive Director.

For more information about the Visitor Center, or for comment from the Mayor, please call the Mayor’s office at 410-548-3100.

11:49 AM he is carrying the Democrat Torch just like Jim Ireton did. Homo buddies of Jim's got jobs like Chris Demone, Julia Glanz, Sarah Meyers, Sarah Raynes husband, Dru Bragg, Tom Stevenson and the list goes on and on.

So who is the Friend of Jakes who got the job?

What a waste of tax dollars putting a full time employee at a downtown visitors center. WTH is their to visit downtown? How much is that costing us? How much are we paying for that building?

What idiots on the Salisbury City Council approved this moronic budget?
