Salisbury Armed Robbery Investigation

Two suspects remain at large as a result of an armed robbery that occurred earlier this morning.

On July 14, 2016 at approximately 2:40 a.m. Salisbury police officers and detectives responded to the Shore Stop located at 1020 Eastern Shore Drive, Salisbury, Maryland for a reported armed robbery. The sole female employee stated that two armed, masked suspects entered the store and demanded money.

Further investigation revealed that upon entering the store the suspects were displaying what was described as black semi-automatic handguns. The suspects forced the employee behind the sales counter as they demanded money. The employee gave one of the suspects an un-disclosed amount of U.S. currency, while the other suspect began filling a bag with packs of cigarettes. After obtaining the U.S. currency and cigarettes, the suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. Suspect #1 was captured on surveillance cameras during the robbery and is pictured below. There were no injuries reported during the incident.

Salisbury Police Department K-9 “Meso” assisted in the investigation, and conducted a K-9 track which revealed additional evidence along the flight path of the suspects.

SUSPECT #1: Black male, 25-30 years of age, approximately 6’-00” 160 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head, dark mask, white gloves, blue jeans and armed with a black automatic style handgun.

SUSPECT#2: Black or Hispanic male, 25-30 years of age, approximately 6’-00” 160 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head, dark mask, white gloves, blue jeans and armed with a black automatic style handgun.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives are requesting anyone with information to contact the Salisbury Police Department (410) 548-3113 or Crime Solvers (410) 548-1776

Regardless whether you have five officers or fifty officers working at one time, unfortunately there will always be crime occurring. The police cannot be all places at all times.

With duncan donut, absent meinschein, and hammer Kolb more officers will leave and crime will rise. Lost day thinks his employees are vested not spd administration pushing them out left and right. Several last week and more coming...Jake spd sinking you might want to look into it

And you wonder why banning guns don't work...I'm sure these two upstanding citizens went to gander mountain and purchased these...and of course all thugs don't wear hooded sweat jackets..especially in a heat wave...people need to start turning in these people...or you will be next to be robbed or violated...silence is not golden....
