Pocomoke Residents Please Read

I was informed today that corruption charges against Former Pocomoke Police Chief Kelvin Sewell and Lt Green were filed By Emmet Davis

I am not going to try to hide the story since I turned over my new leaf. I think everyone should just wait and see how everything plays out before any judgements pro or con are made. It will be a long process to get to the truth and while that is battled out in court we all need to work together .

It wasn't Beau Oglesby. The charges were filed by Office of the Maryland State Prosecutor.

Beau Oglesby and the Worcester County States Attorney office have nothing to do with this. This came down from the State Prosecutor in Annapolis.

It wasn't Beau! It was the State Prosecutors office! Misconduct of office 2 counts each when they should have got 100 each!!

Tom Tucker said...

He himself should be indicted for corruption

Hey what do citizens for a better pocomoke think of this

I totally am in agreement that we should wait to see how this plays out. They will get their day in court and whatever the outcome is, it means justice was served.
It's too bad some in the community do not have the same thought process especially when it comes to LE involved shootings and other LE involved incidents. They come out like savages ready to publicly hang the officers and it's not good. It's uncivilized and it's barbaric not to mention offensive and disgusting. It only enhances stereotypes of people being uneducated and clueless and even inherently violent and having no impulse control.

And guess who sent it to Annapolis for a ruling.

Finally the truth may be coming out.

I would like to point out that just because someone is charged with something they are innocent until proven guilty . The burden of proof is on the state to prove the case so at this point they are innocent

Anonymous said...

It's fine to say "innocent until proven guilty" but the fact is that the prosecutors have to have a lot of verifiable evidence before charges or brought against anyone.

Let me try to sum this up for you, below are the defendants named in Chief Sewell, Lieutenant Green and Detective Savage federal law suit: Mayor Bruce Morrison, Current City Manager Ernie Crofoot, former City Manager Russell Blake, Worcester County States Attorney Beau Oglesby and The Worcester County Sheriffs Criminal Enforcement Team. So Oglesby who is upset about being a defendant called his friend State Prosecutor Emmitt Davitt and said, find some way to charge Chief Sewell and Lieutenant Green and the State Prosecutor did just that. What this is called people is dirty politics and payback from the State Prosecutor for his friends being charged in a law suit. I talked today with both Chief Sewell and Lieutenant Green, they both are looking forward and can't wait for there day in court.

People of Worcester County if you think Beau Oglesby hands are not in this then you are just plain dumb. This is call RETALIATION, how dare you sue me

Anonymous said...

Bogus charges. Nothing will come of it. They're just mad because Sewell filed charges against the Md. State Police, Olgesby, Morrison and some of his goonies. When the whole truth comes out someone is gonna look pretty stupid.

They all work together

We think the corrupt racist have won again..

Sewell was indicted you rubes.

Thanks for backing a crook, JT!

What this is called is Abusive power in law enforcement. If you think for one moment that Beau Oglesby did not have his midget hands involved in the charges against chief sewell and lieutenant Green and the firing of chief sewell and det. savage then you must be from another planet.

Anonymous said...

I am no friend of Oglesby. But how in the Hell does Dirty Politics @ July 19, 2016 at 11:03 PM know that Oglesby is friends of, or even knows the Special Prosecutor. Ordinarily the State Special Prosecutor is friends with NOBODY.

You know, those who are aggrieved are free to talk to the public and others. But those that are still on the job and/ or in office MUST keep quiet. They cannot say anything that would jeopardize an investigation.

Unless the naysayers who posted above know for fact what the Special Prosecutor knows, how can they pass judgement? And if they DO know some facts, well they should be on the phone to the SP's investigators.

Does anyone really think that the State Special Prosecutor knows or gives a damn about the local officials involved in this case?

Anonymous said...

I can almost guarantee you that this will be the end of Oglesby's Worcester County States Attorney career. And Anonymous 8:29 if you want to believe in your little narrow naive mind that Oglesby did not call his friend that State Prosecutor and say charge Sewell and Green because they are the cause of me being a defendant in their law suit than you two will be added to the list of people as being the dumbest people on the planet.

Sorry but whites don't roll like that. "Retaliation" is a black thang. Perfect example Baltimore city's Mosby.
Stop trying to put black "values" like revenge and retaliation on our backs. We are better then that!

Anonymous said...

Retaliation and revenge is very big in black communities. It's one of the main motives of all the black on black murders and shootings.

Yes, it is innocent until proven guilty but what I find funny is how you are the one saying it. You tried your best to throw everyone on the council under the bus and call them racist(except a few)before any facts were even presented. Everything was hearsay just as it is in this new indictment. If you are really trying to be fair then be fair to all. Now this new indictment looks like payback to me but guess what I do not know the testimonies that the grand jury heard and neither does anyone on here so stop speculation. Everyone wants innocent until proven guilty on who they support and guilty to those they do not support...

Anonymous said...

Them people in Pocomoke hired a bunch of blacks and now see what they get. Rule of the thumb - never do business with blacks.

Anonymous said...

Because black Americans have so few role models now, it embarrasses them when one of those role models gets caught breaking the law; therefore, they will say the guilty party was a victim of racism. It is easy and convenient for them because they have been doing it for so long. Sadly, there are many black Americans who are good, honest and hard working people, but there are way too many more that are not.

Anonymous said...

So let me get this straight, you come out when the story "breaks" and claim to know the entire story, call the town leaders racist because of the situation and now we need to wait and see how it plays out???????? Also, if you believe Oglesby has enough power to sway the state prosecutor to file charges just because he wants him to you are completely delusional. I bet we won't see any rallies/protests now. Where are your friends who were completing the documentary on this now? Call them back up and make sure they get the truth.

Anonymous said...

It's become all too common anymore for when an African American is trying to save face they cry racism. It's very unfortunate. We see it over and over including in politics. If someone says they don't like Obama it's automatic because he is black and you are a racist. It's never mind that Obama is a pathological liar and you don't approve of any liars. It's as if they are trying to save face since they do have so few role models and instead of admitting Obama's many character flaws they say the dislike is racism.

Yes I am sure the attorney from Worcester county has enough pull to call the State's attorney up and have him charge POLICE OFFICERS FOR NOTHING. Stop making excuses and accept that there was a legitimate reason as to why the officers were fired.

Anonymous said...

I posted from the very beginning this had nothing to do with being racist and what you do in the dark will come out in the light. You did not post my comment the first time but now I am right. Vindicated

This is 10:18 again, I would also like to add that this is the problem we are seeing all across America everyone is so quick to either condemn or acquit based on who they like. What happened to Alton and Castille looks bad on camera depending on who you support but has anyone seen what happened before the cameras were rolling? They both had guns, although its a debate whether Castille's was legal or not. Alton had the same exact thing happen in 2009 that he was found guilty of. Were they innocent? Who knows because all the facts have not been released but everybody has condemned the police and on the other side everyone has condemned Alton and Castille. As far as 10:02 and 10:54 they are the reason that Racism still exists in America along with Sharpton,Jesse and the others you are no different. Judge someone by the content of there character please, not the color of there skin.

1220-Exactly. JT's a crackpot.

The officers were indicted by a grand jury, which means they found sufficient reason for the officers to be charged. Which therefore means individuals who do not work for any attorney's office, police department, or whatever else excuse you want to associate with the charges, thought that the individuals should stand trial. That may be hard for you to wrap your head around while you are complaining that this is an inside job by Ogelsby, who amounts to a hill of beans in this situation.

Here I will help you, repeat after me: "I am sorry that we jumped to a conclusion because it fit a narrative we push daily.

This is obviously retaliation

I only know that the women in Pocomoke are amazingly friendly.Every time I go there I feel like Elvis must have felt after a concert.Within a day after I've left Pocomoke my voice mail is crammed with messages from women wanting me to return.I'm not rich and I don't have movie star looks. It's a complete mystery, but I'm not complaining.

What century is that from?

Question because I am not sure.... If Oglesby is not involved, why is his name listed as an attorney on MD judiciary case search?

Anonymous said...

JT...glad to hear about your new turn. Your reaction to two corrupt cops getting indicted by a state prosecutor certainly pales to your ranting on behalf of those same two indicted cops when they played the race card. This is why you wait. Justice grinds slow...but it surely grinds.

Perhaps your previous apologies can be accepted by those you trashed...when they view your actions moving forward. Mr. Sewell avoided another Justice Dept. in BC by admitting he lied to the FBI and then ratting on a "friend". Then he played the race card and walked away from the City. His words cannot be trusted...and JT was taken in hook, line, and sinker...just to hurt others who never did anything wrong.

Surely sir, you will be held accountable. ..as will we all.

Tell that 2 the 6 Baltimore cops who were indited for doing their job 2 cover up 4 other public officials who were not.

Anonymous said...

You people are ridiculous. How do you know someone else isn't involved and Ogleby because he's involved in the suit had to excuse himself and refer the matter to the state? Someone who maybe had their property damaged and because of falsified information is stuck paying their own money for something that wasn't even their fault? You people need to start using your heads instead of looking like fools and always blaming someone when you have what amounts to a small fraction of the information. This is why you always end up looking like fools. Real good at running that mouth when you don't know the first thing about what you are even talking about.

Anonymous said...

Agreed

Anonymous said...

Agreed

Anonymous said...

Right I agree too. Always looking to blame someone else instead of blaming who is to blame and that is Green and Sewell. I personally think this is just one thing and other complaints are coming from more people. I don't know this for fact but only know what some other people think.

Anonymous said...

The ridiculous things here is how people think that Defendant Beau Oglesby don't have anything to do with the indictment.

Anonymous said...

When did the State Prosecutors Office began handling cases involving police investigations and accidents. This stinks to hi heaven and I hope Green and Sewell sue the defendants for every thing they got.

Retired Attorney said...

When I first learned the State Prosecutor was involved I knew it was Beau. There are not many people who can order an investigation to be conducted by the State Prosecutors Office. But the States Attorneys have the authority to order an investigation handled by the State Prosecutor. And for Beau to have WMDT News state, "Oglesby stated he had nothing to do with the investigation" was the first indication to me that I knew Beau was involved.

You can fool some of the people sometimes Beau but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.

I heard they covered up a DUI for a Douglas Matthews. His 3rd one so that he would'nt get fired from his job at ECI. Just saying
