MSP Press Release

Narrative:  On July 23, 2016 at approximately 1410 hours, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack responded to the area of Mount Hermon Road at Waste Gate Road in Parsonsburg, Wicomico County, Maryland in reference to a motor vehicle collision. Through investigation, it was learned that the driver of a 2015 Kia Sedona (Stacey Victoria Rossey) was struck by a 2002 Honda Civic being driven by Ronald Grant Miner SR. Miner was driving east bound on Mount Hermon road when he crossed the double yellow line in the roadway and struck the Kia Sedonatravelling west bound on Mount Hermon Road. Miner was transported to Peninsula Medical Reginal Center where he was pronounced deceased. Rossey and the children had non-life-threatening injuries. It is unknown if Miner died as a result of the collision or if there was a medical emergency that happened prior. Investigation continues.


Miner was a 40-year Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Maryland serving with both Baltimore and Howard County Police Departments.

I bet they didn't check his system for drugs.

Really? Everyone gets check for drugs! If not at the hospital where he was pronounced DEAD, he will be checked at the Medical Examiners office. Not everyone is on drugs! The poor man is dead have a little compassion!
