Maryland State Police Arrest Somerset Co. Man For Child Pornography

Maryland State Police News Release

Maryland State Police Arrest Somerset Co. Man For Child Pornography

(Princess Anne, MD)  Maryland State Police investigators from the Maryland Internet Crimes Section, Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested a Somerset County man yesterday on child pornography related charges.

The suspect is identified as Bryan Evans, 34, of the 11000 block of Somerset Avenue, Princess Anne, MD. Evans was arrested without incident and charged with six counts of possession of child pornography and other related charges.

Earlier this year, investigators with the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force developed information about the potential distribution of child pornography over the Internet. As a result of the subsequent investigation, Evans was identified as the suspect and a search warrant was served at Evans’ residence shortly after 9:00 a.m. yesterday morning, by Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit investigators, state troopers from the Princess Anne Barrack, agents from Homeland Security Investigations, Somerset County Narcotics Task Force deputies from the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department and officers from the Princess Anne Police Department.

Service of the search warrant resulted in the recovery of various digital media storage devices.  Evidence will be submitted to the Maryland State Police Digital Forensics Lab for analysis. Evan was transported to the Somerset County District Court Commissioner’s Office for processing and a hearing before a District Court commissioner. Evans was held on a $300,000 bond.

The Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is comprised of police agencies from around the state. Its primary mission is to protect children from computer-facilitated sexual exploitation. The Task Force works cooperatively with law enforcement agencies and prosecutors to provide resources to combat these crimes. Additionally, the Task Force provides community awareness campaigns helping to prevent the spread of these crimes through education.

Medical insurance fraud? They need to investigate the Salisbury Fire Department for their ambulance billing practices. Much of the paperwork is funded and most of the transports could go by car.

It's at WinterPlace, by the Shorebirds stadium

LOL! Yes, he certainly does have a large profile, about 300 lbs worth.

Yes it was Peninsula Internal Medicine. I think Candy Burns owns it and runs the office and does the billing.

@June 29, 2016 at 7:10 PM---I truly think you do not have a clue! Yep, a lot of the ambulance transports can go by car! But UH, who is committing the fraud? UH, the patients, in some cases are! Just listen to a dispatch center sometime! You will hear...."Patient has had a head ache for one week and needs to be checked out." or "Patient is complaining of an aching back......" UH call a taxi! Give the people that serve us in the community a break! They have to put up with a lot of BS calls each and every day. Putting up with such BS calls, actually puts the community at risk, by tying up the crews, so as to when a "real emergency" does occur, they may be tied up on a 25 year old that needs to take a taxi or call a friend to see a doctor! But oh know! we must go to the Emergency Department, which is even more fraud! But then again idiots like this do not have to worry about it. They are not paying usually! Go to a doctors office! Or better yet, take a couple of Tylenol and see if that works first! Do people realize the cost of an emergency room visit? So when you are going to accuse the Salisbury Fire Department of fraud, you need to first look at some of the idiotic reasons some people call the ambulance! That there is fraud!
Oh and by the way, I am not affiliated in no way, shape or form with the Salisbury Fire Department... ----Anonymous 101

@ Anonymous 101 Yep, you are so right! The medical fraud that occurs each and every day in the local emergency services agencies and emergency wards/hospitals etc. is one of the very reasons medical cost are so high! The fraud, however is generated, by a daily growing amount, from the "patient." That, along with frivolous law suits to try to get over on the system. Yes, there are better ways to lower medical cost that are much better and make much more sense than Obama care....But I will not go there!
