Delmar Weather Says Be Ready For Storms Sunday

Something on the table to watch out for this Sunday. Not many times we get to see such a high risk of severe weather 4 days out. The Storm Prediction Center placed all of Delmarva under a Enhanced Risk of severe weather.
A vigorous low pressure system will move through the Great Lakes dragging a cold front along the way. A very unstable airmass out ahead of the front will be conductive for the potential of severe weather. At this time it looks likes it will be a primary wind damage threat but a fairly high risk. Quoted from the SPC,
"IT APPEARS THAT A FAIRLY WIDESPREAD DAMAGING WIND EVENT MAY EVOLVE ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
MID-ATLANTIC REGION AND SWD INTO NC."
REMINDER...
This event is still 4 days away but we are getting concerned at the overall setup for the event. Please keep checking back in with us here at Delmar Weather as we follow the latest forecast regarding this possible severe weather outbreak. -Hunte
