Welcome To Salisbury?

This is the scene across from SU behind the bank and Horner Honda. Is this really what we want college kids to see as a representation of the City they are going to School in?

Well who think is doing this?

I think it's a pretty good representation of Salisbury actually.. that's how I picture it.

Be a nice community project for the College students to tackle and clean up....

1:17-They're too busy creating brilliant plans for downtown.Wasn't there some sort of a contest involved? Does anyone know of any results or benefits that came of that?

Lol all your articles are negative. Maybe you should do some more searching of the GOOD going on in Delmarva.

The college kids actually use this as a skatepark, which gives them something constructive to do. You need to wander a little further north and look behind Shorebrite laundry and see the homeless camp back there.

There are colleges all across the country in major cities much dirtier, more crime ridden or impoverished than Salisbury. Many of the kids that come here are from Baltimore and D.C. Not much news today huh?

It's been a DIY skatepark three years before we've actually got a skate park and I think it shows character and creativity

Looks like College students that did this!

This area is in the "Spine Rail" walking/bike trail area, so there are plans to improve it. The City and SU are working together along with the railroad, you'll see plans soon.

Anything that would take effort. These articles are not breaking news, they are things Wboc already posts. Posts like this summers upcoming summer camps so kids know where to go so they aren't out here in these streets. Posts of our homeless shelters and their upcoming projects. Things that show we are trying to help out here.
