WILLIAM NEAL DUDLEY CONVICTED OF SEX ABUSE OF A MINOR 

AND RELATED OFFENSES

SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS IN D.O.C.

 

On April 15, 2016the Honorable W. Newton Jackson sentenced William Neal Dudley, age 31to 15 years in the Division of Corrections for Sex Abuse of a Minor and related charges.  Dudley will also be required to register for life as a Tier III sex offender.

Dudley was found guilty on January 5, 2016 following a jury trial.  He was convicted of Sex Abuse of a Minor and Second Degree Assault.  His victim was a four-year old child.    

 

Wicomico County State’s Attorney Matthew A. Maciarello commended the members of the Child Advocacy Center, along with lead investigator Detective Ed Fissel of the Salisbury Police Department, for their work in the investigation and prosecution of this case.  Mr. Maciarello also thanked Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Karen M. Dean, who prosecuted the case.

15 years!!!! What is 15 years? What tied the prosecutors hands on this case? A 4 year old child!!! Something isnt right. What gives?

15 years and this child is scarred for life. She may not even be able to have children when she grows up and has to live with nightmares for the rest of her life. The scumbag should have gotten life for ruining hers.
