This is racist and I hope the people who made this article gets the opinion beat out of them and robbed by every out standing black person. Bringing race into rewarding sometime just shows how desperate and petty they really are and then everyone allows the race card to be used except when it don't benefit the "African American " community which none of has ever seen smelled or touched Africa mind you so.....your Americans!! This country needs some reform and it starts with us!-

Good for these women but you see how easy the media traps us all into their racism net.

I have had the pleasure of meeting of few of the remarkable women on this list and they are fantastic, level headed, well rounded women. I am glad they are being recognized for being outstanding.

I am glad they are being recognized too, but for being outstanding, not for being black!

Why is Sheree Sample-Hughes such an outstanding Delmarva Black Woman? If anyone has been paying attention they would know that she never ran for office. She was groomed for the County Council position by Ed Taylor and then she was groomed for the State Delegate position by Rudy Cane. She is in a black legislative district that was carved out to guarantee a black person wins. This is a joke and she has never done anything to earn her position.

I think its amazing how everyone is quick to say they are not racist but jump at the chance to talk down on someone thats black for being recognized. This article is from African american pride magazine so who would you like them to commemorate? So as far as where are the white people i would answer with the question of where are the black people in the history books and texts that show white people and the gods of civilization while the truth shows us otherwise. YOu dont have to publish my comment but the question still remains why does someone else other than white people being recognized seem to hurt only white people. Im assuming there are no other ethnicities
on this post.
