Salisbury Man Threatens Brother With Sledgehammer

A Salisbury man was arrested Friday night after police say he went to his brother’s house armed with a sledgehammer and threatened to kill him.

Police say a family feud apparently reached a point of no return when 63 year-old Larry Conway came to his brother’s house on Maple Way uninvited, destroyed the mailbox with a sledgehammer, and ended up in a violent struggle as his brother attempted to disarm him.  Conway eventually gave up and left the home.

Wicomico County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Conway at his nearby home; he was charged with assault, home invasion, burglary, and malicious destruction of property. Conway was later released on a $50,000 bond.
