Least Cooperative Law Enforcement Agency So Far Salisbury Police Barbara Duncan

Only thanks to Scott Kolb of the department did this process of getting missing persons and unsolved homicides not turn into a complete jumbled up mess from the Salisbury Police Department

I have contacted every law enforcement agency around the lower shore and many have gotten me their records within a couple of days, It was almost the 30 day limit when Barb sent me a list with no names, and only case numbers. I then cross referenced the list with what was on the SPD website and saw many that were not on there, the problem was I was only given case numbers so I basically was given a list of nothing.

I left a message for Barb about the matter and thankfully Scott Kolb called me back and went over the case numbers and gave me the correlating names to those cases which I had asked Barb for in the first place. Less than 5 minutes Kolb helped do something that I waited 28 days for that didn't even give what I asked.

Every other law agency and especially the Wicomico County Sheriff who were the best of all groups, got me the names and most included a case summary. Barb Duncan not so much

Salisbury officials and politicians have never been thrilled with blogs so they aren't going to go out of their way to be helpful. More evidence of Salisbury being so behind in the times. Blogs are here and are here to stay.

Little Ireton is still controlling her.

Agree but I blame Ireton now for not getting rid of the old chief.

1:37 Why blame him? Day could do something about it, it's his sinking ship now.

Well JT, I guess you really made her feel the power of your Blog.

Great point JT! She probably couldn't find any of the information on her "super" crime fighting predictive location computer system!!!! LOL

Poor Jake is dragging his feet on this one.

Call me old fashioned, but solving these cases is the #1 issue, and thus far any degree of cooperation(or lack of) has not produced results. For the lay person, that means that the ability to solve such cases transcends the abilities of the agencies involved. And that isn't because they cannot solve them.Regardless of what appears to be a commitment by said agencies the resources are not available via man hours or finances.Solving cases on the Eastern Shore are plagued with conflicts of interest at every corner. In lay terms, that means that outside agencies must become involved to overcome our local good old boy system and get some of this resolved.Barbara Duncan, for one, realizes this,as only an outsider can.Too many locals are beyond suspicion.

Duncan and Day are neighbors, he won't do anything to shake up the hood.
