Great news...should be a good addition to the Centre!!! The one in Lewis seems to be popular.

Seems really silly. JCPenny didn't close due to lack of business, it was one of the best performing stores in the chain. It closed because the mall owners wanted an insane new monthly lease price.

I'd much rather have JCPenny than HomeGoods, guess mall owners are desperate now they can't fill all their spaces.

It sorta sounds like a Bed,Bath & Beyond to me,but I don't understand why companies like this don't build their own building. There are most likely no existing empty buildings in our area that are large enough to suit. It's almost like renting a house or apartment vs buying.

Many stores have closed the mall or refuse to come to the mall because of the outrageous rents. Now the problem is the fact that they refuse to remodel their 25 y/o mall. It is disgusting and it will end up being a rubble pile like the old mall.
