Bomb Threats Hold Area In Fear

We are now headed into week 3 of bomb threats to area Schools. The majority have been robocalls which have made them hard to trace. Law Enforcement are spread thin and yet continue to do an amazing job handling these calls.

This madness must stop as parents are now refusing send their kids to School until the situation is resolved. Whoever you are you will be caught

Whoever you are, be prepared because I plan to sue the hell out you for all the mental anguish that you've inflicted on my community!

As if they would have more than $50.00 to their name. I think it is time to start ignoring these phone calls. It is obvious that there is no real threat. If some terrorist were going to do it they would not call first! I know, lots of folks would say, "Yeah, but what if?"
Well the odds are greater that a kid would be hurt in a car or bus accident on the way to school.

This problem is costing the taxpayers a fortune, closing schools and busing is becoming a big problem for bus drivers. It would be cheaper to have security at every door, limit entry to only a few doors, 24/7 with a screening process similar to entering a courthouse, x-ray everything and everybody. In case of emergency all doors would be open for evacuation. These precautions are done everyday at many places. The safety of the children should be a #1 priority at any cost. School shootings would decrease across the nation!

I'll gladly take that last $50.00 and let me express my personal opinion on "ignoring" these calls : ABSOLUTELY NOT! Don't know nor care if you have children but, I do and their safety is first on my list of priorities!

Ignore the calls???!!! Are you serious?? You are idiot who is obviously not a parent and if you are I feel for your children......

I am the "idiot." If you REALLY believe that these calls represent a credible threat to your kid(s), then keep them home. You should also never let them in a car, because there is a greater chance that they will be injured in a crash than in one of these bomb threats.

So if you REALLY care about your kids, keep them inside, odds are relatively (as compared to the bomb threats) good that they could be struck by lightening. People take chances with the safety of their kids everyday. Kids get hurt playing sports, kids get hurt in auto crashes, kids get hurt riding their bicycles:
EVERYDAY

By the way, the fact that NONE of these many, many calls resulted in a bomb, proves me right.

9:33 Just because no bombs have been found so far, doesn't mean we should ignore those calls. It only takes one to make a lot of dead or dismembered people, and families in mourning. Personally, I take any threat serious.
