Syrian Refugees My Thoughts

It has been a very contentious issue that has sparked widespread debate across the nation. Many feel we are a nation of immigrants and that we should allow everyone who wants to come to America to be welcomed with open arms. I have to disagree with that and let me explain why.

America was founded the key word in the sentence by immigrants. Founded means a start, a beginning. America is not a new Country anymore with a vast area of land we are looking to fill up with people. America is a nation full of poverty and homelessness. We have to take care of our own citizens who are in need before we continue to overburden the very system that can't handle the problem now. We offer illegal aliens more benefits than people who were actually born in this Country and that must stop.

We must focus all our efforts on our homeless which include veterans who served this Country, and the poverty stricken who struggle to survive in the modern economic crisis. People want to say that the Syrian refugees go through many checks before they can relocate, but honestly desperate people will say and do anything they can to better their situation. One of the Paris attackers was one of these refugees who relocated to Paris.

We simply cannot take the chance of bringing people to our Country that wish to harm it.

Honestly,JT,I have not heard one single reference to the will of the people.Every single person who I've come in contact with is against the refugees coming here. Our entire nation, almost to the last person excluding certain politicians are against it as well.It seems like millions of people would make a difference in this decision but they don't.Apparently all we can do is sit idly by while refugees infiltrate our country.Obama will overrule the Governors decision in each state and allow them in regardless.

Terrorism aside, how can we take care of thousands of refugees as long as we have homelessness and hunger right here at home,we have no business housing, feeding and clothing non-citizens.

No stopping it now. New speaker Paul Ryan agrees with Obama on refugees. These corrupt politicians using the common man empathy/compassion against the people. Clearly D.C. no longer represents the American people.
