Pocomoke City Leadership Continues Target Black Officers

Frank Savage was fired yesterday from the Pocomoke City Police Force following Chief Kelvin Sewell out the door. Frank Savage as I stated in my post here filed an EEOC complaint against the members of the Worcester County Drug Task Force which is comprised of Officers from Worcester County Sheriff, Maryland State Police and one from Ocean City. The complaint stated he was subjected to a racially hostile work environment with allegations he was called the n-word, had references made by the team to the Ku Klux Klan, shown a photo of President Barack Obama on a food stamp and had a dead animal put on his car. The MSP member involved in this was disciplined for his actions, but nothing was done about the other members who are close friends with Worcester County State's Attorney Beau Oglesby who now sits in the very heart of the matter.

Beau along with Morrison and Blake did everything in their power to try to get Kelvin Sewell to fire Savage immediately after this complaint was made against the task force. Keep in mind no complaints against Savage doing his job until this point. Kelvin Sewell knowing there is an EEOC complaint filed refused to fire Savage since no proof has ever been given that Savage should be fired. Within months Kelvin Sewell is fired, Beau Oglesby's friend Earl Starner comes in and suspends Savage immediately.

Fast forward to yesterday and Frank Savage is terminated from his employment even with an active EEOC complaint and one Officer involved reprimanded for his actions. Beau Oglesby and his buddies will target anyone who dares criticize them and what they do, and if you are black ...keep your bags packed.

And a great point Pocomoke leaders say they didn't fire Sewell because he wouldn't fire Savage but then fired Savage..I think that proves Kelvin is telling the truth

In all fairness to everyone involved,a color blind LEADER is a rare find.Just for once if we could stop throwing in all of the intracacies involved and bottom line this thing Pocomoke needs a color blind leader who can relate to all of it's citizens. The right person will be able to treat everyone equally and fairly without neglecting anyone, and that person does not have to be a police chief. He or she needs to be in a position of authority and minus the free for all mentality that we've been seeing.

Oh right 3:38. We see how you all act. Killing EACH other like there is no tomorrow and shitting in your own nests by rioting. And if anyone points out your uncivilized savage ways they get called a racist and get threatened. You people need to own it. You are a national disgrace! Killing each other off like you are! You go anywhere in the world now and mention you are from MD and all people think of is blacks throwing bricks at the cops and burning and pillaging their own neighborhoods. Start owning it! You all don't know how to behave like normal civilized humans beings and your comment shows 3:38 just how you all can become violent at the drop of a hat. Get the hell back to africa. You no good piece of shit. The nerve of you threatening people. Or go and kill another black. You all are experts at that!

I'm a white dude life long P City resident. I live in a diverse neighborhood although probably it is mostly white. Why is it back children, teens and adults can walk through my neighborhood without fear yet if I walk or bike ride down 4th street or Clarke Ave or good forbid bedlam I hear get outta here whitey, who dat honky, even have rocks thrown at by kids while adults laugh and encourage. You know, those neighborhoods full of section 8 housing established by our "hated" city leaders so the ones making all this noise can live free and disrespect our city leaders and any white folk they can when they the ones that made it possible to be here and pay their rent.Who are the real racist? WTF??

Blacks are the biggest racist who ever walked the face of the earth. They are taught it at home. That's fine with me at least I know to stay away from them. I don't help them, talk to them, or associate with them.

In 1985 black residents of Pocomoke had to sue over violation of voting rights. They won, btw. In 1994 the county was sued over violation of voting rights. The case was heard in the US District Court, Md and the court ordered that the county submit a plan to alter the voting districts so that the African American community would not be so easily blocked when trying to elect a minority candidate. The courts noted that the facts showed a history of official resistance to desegregation and did not fully desegregate its schools after the Supreme Court's order. I think it is very clear that bigotry rests very comfortable and openly on the lower shore (see nearly any Anonymous post above) and is responsible for the terminating of a police chief who, by every yardstick by which we have to measure, did a good job at his post. What's funny is that in every discussion I have had about this with everyone I've had it with, it was generally agreed that the man did his job well...until the town council finally gave their explanation and said he did not. Oh, one last thing, read some history. Rioting and rebellion are ALWAYS the end result when a disenfranchised people are blocked from legal recourse. When officers are fired for filing complaints and media is barred from observing council meetings and black church members are told they will be arrested for practicing their constitutionally-protected right of assembly and protest, well, that sounds like pretty serious blocking to me.

A very long time ago Americans were denied representation in government by England. For years they attempted diplomacy and, when they realized that their pleas, arguments and civil discourse was being ignored and minimalized, they rioted. We call it the Boston Tea Party. We celebrate it because it was a tipping point in history that lead to the creation of something better, the United States. Y'know, after that whole rebellion.
