Breaking News Out Of Pocomoke

Frank Savage has just been fired from the Pocomoke Police Department. Frank Savage filed an EEOC complaint about mistreatment by the Worcester county drug task force who are good friends with States Attorney Beau Oglesby. This goes right back to the heart of the matter and what also led to the termination of Kelvin Sewell

So they couldn't make Sewell fire Savage, so they fired Sewell. Now Savage is fired. Man this is some racist bull-shit here in Pocomoke.

I knew Beau Oglesby had his hands in this some kinda way. I hope Savage and Sewell sue because both of them was wrongfully terminated.

Don't re-elect Beau - get off your asses and vote when the time comes around - DO NOT RELECT THAT IDIOT!

Pocomoke had it's first homicide in five years but all the Mayor, City council and states atty. can do is to think of ways to fire the people who prevented this from happening. SAD SAD PEOPLE

There has to be more than we know about this entire incident. People want to throw a race card in when it comes to a black individual. If the men were all white, this would have never really been noticed. People get fired every day. Pocomoke, this might be shocking, but it really is none of our business why the police chief was fired. Nor is it this detective.

Prayers for Officer Savage and his family. I'm ashamed to admit to an outsider that I live in Pocomoke. Please pray for our whole town.

All is good at PCPD!

The proverbial race card was first played by the white individuals who harassed a fellow law enforcement officer simply because he was black. You are correct in that if the men were all white, then most likely this situation would not exist. How could it exist as racial discrimination is at the heart of the issue? People may get fired everyday, however, it is illegal to fire someone based solely on the person's race. Though you may not feel the chief's firing to be your business, please do not presume to speak for me and the matters with which I choose to concern myself.

When the shit hits the fan, all of this is going to knock some people on their butts. I'm telling you, I have lived here all my life and I know this was racial. People take off your blinders. I am a white female married to a black man. Even when the two of us walk into Walmart to do our weekly shopping, the looks we get from some people are unbelievable. While standing in line, I heard a comment from someone that said " I wonder where she works and how many food stamps he gets. It's time for people to wake the hell up and realize that we all live in this world together. I love my husband and he loves me. So whatever it is that folk think when they see us together, so be it. I was talking to Frank Savage asking him how he was doing and he said that he was fine.\, and now this. The politicians in this town are going to reap what they sow. Right is right and wrong is wrong.

Never actually heard anyone say that the actions of government officials weren't our business before. My response to the poster would be feel free to stay out of it.
