BODY FOUND IN SOMERSET CO. IDENTIFIED AS MISSING BALTIMORE MAN Damon Jennings

BODY FOUND IN SOMERSET CO. IDENTIFIED AS MISSING BALTIMORE MAN

(EDEN, MD) -- The body found along a Somerset County road yesterday afternoon has been identified as a man from Baltimore who was reported missing earlier this month.

The victim is identified as Damon G. Jennings, 22, of the 5200-block of Hill Well Road, Baltimore, Md.  His body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

Jennings' body was found shortly before 2:00 p.m. yesterday by a person walking along Backbone Road near Seatick Road, in Eden, Md.  Responding troopers observed trauma on the man's body and the State Police Homicide Unit was called to conduct an investigation.

State Police investigators learned Jennings was reported missing to the Baltimore Police Department earlier this month.  He was last seen on the night of October 15, 2015.  State Police Homicide Unit investigators have worked throughout the night, in cooperation with detectives from the Baltimore Police Department.

The investigation is continuing.

I just looked him up in the Case Search and he is no role model by far. Sorry bud!

I am wondering what connection he had to this area. The killer/killers didn't just drive 3 hours to hide his body down here. It would be too risky to drive this distance with a person you just murdered in a vehicle.

Not sure if he was or wasn't a role model, but case search shows only 4 traffic charges. Hardly a reason to assume anything negative...

My goodness you all are a literal bunch.

I wouldn't think so 5:55. If that were the case wouldn't he have told someone home in Baltimore that he was coming down here?
Right 3:26 While I don't have even one entry on judiciary his few traffic citations that he took care of mean nothing at least to a reasonable person.

Same thing I said 8:36 pm. Just plain out PATHETIC! People are something else I tell you. For Christ sake a man is dead & his family & friends are now mourning. Show them some respect!!!! The morals & values of this world no longer exists!!!

All of you need to keep your judgements to yourself! Damon was a great guy, well known in the Baltimore area and a caring, respectful young man. Who doesn't have some traffic tickets? That doesn't make him a bad person. If you wanna search people why don't you look up facts on the matter and see that he didn't voluntarily go to the eastern shore! His car was found in baltimore in the woods by an ally. He was kidnapped! By people he knew! People he trusted! People he worked with! Nobody had no beef with him. He doesn't even know people in the eastern shore! So unless you know him or worked with hinm then you need to keep your negative judgement to yourself. We just lost a good man thanks to 3 selfish individuals. Let us mourn without reading slander in his name. Have some respect for the dead especially if you don't know the person. How would you want people to act if it was somebody you knew?

8:36 Unfortunately, due to out of control handouts, our voter base is CRAP. Because of that, every time you see a case like this, it is presumed to be a criminal act. And the "victim" isn't really a victim.

Thank your council and the mayor for the public's change in perception.

11:44 Morals and values go out the window when people are OD'ing in our children's schools, in homes around our schools, bodies being dumped, stabbings, shootings, etc. This area has turned into crime first, tax payers second. His family can give him respect, not my job.

Right! 12:50's comment is as stupid as the person's hand who typed it and is a crock of CRAP. I AM the first one to call a thug a thug and I say what I want regardless of who get offended. The victim Damon as well as the suspects don't fit the so called profile of being involved in a murder scenario.
I agree with Loretta except I don't call the suspects selfish I call them evil with demons in them which is surprising because they don't fit that image. Goes to show trust no one. With that in mind I do feel for all the families involved and it's a darn shame that evilness prevailed over the ones who were involved in Damon's murder. No need to let the devil in your life. Too many people's lives then get changed for the worst forever. Stupid just plain old stupid people can't control evilness.
