REWARD FOR INFORMATION ON ABUSED CATS
The Humane Society of Somerset County is offering a $300 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for seriously injuring two cats in Crisfield.
One had been doused in diesel fuel and the other slashed with what appeared to be a “hip to hip” cut across its abdomen.
The incident is believed to have occurred late Saturday or early Sunday Sept. 28-29 in the area Richardson Avenue north of Standard Avenue, possibly in the vicinity of the car wash and Sunoco filling station. Those involved may have scratch marks on their arms or hands.
Anyone with information may call the HSSC at 410-651-2424. Crisfield police have also been alerted.
