That's not something you can just stick in your back pocket or throw in the trunk of your car!
Check the mobile home parks in the area.
All I'm gonna say is WOW! Apparently even if it's nailed down or put there to assist, that black hole they call Crisfield only knows how suck people dry and then pawn it!! Even the supplies donated during the hurricane went to non-victims and then resold!! Head over to the newly renovated Somers Cove, they got new everything & I'm still fixing/paying for mine and THEIRS!! Why should those who suck off the system want to get employment, they pay $30 rent in condos or remodeled federal housing, have Obama phones, WIC, debit cards to buy cigarettes, get cash and unearned tax credit plus $1000 per child, free daycare and the FIRST in line for donations!!!
I thought the relief was over. Now everyone who wishes to have a wealth of resources bestowed upon them can bring a ladder.
Maybe Schoolfield could offer a tip for a lighter sentence. Somebody has to have seen them being moved? Cameras??
they are nice steps...
What a bunch of Low-lives.
Pull all assistance out of Crisfield. Does not seem appreciated.
Seriously isn't the marina fenced in, no cameras by the boats anywhere, businesses on strip, Woodson school most likely took back way? Nope no one cares to recover it because it seems so insignificant but it's no less than Schoolfield did except he got caught?? Hmmm I bet the step stealers are white folk, black folk inside the marina outside of crab derby might look fishy and certainly not taking swimming lessons? My bet is on a couple white males who are obviously disgruntle Sandy victims, tired of watching Somers Cove peeps get a face lift while they can't even get a new set of steps?? There sure are a lot of big covered crab trucks that would fit right in down on the marina and what easy get away!
Must have been them white people!
I have a hard time believing no one at the marina seen this being done, or maybe they didn't want to see it!
Whoever took the steps should return them. Knowing Billy Jo she will locate them. It will be easier on the thief if the person responsible gives back what was not his.
Big black truck riding down the highway
Johnathan, there was a LOT of funny stuff going on with donations in the beginning of all of this.People who owned rental properties got free appliances meant for homeowners who lost theirs, among other things. So a missing set of steps are a minor thing compared to the crookery that allegedly went on.
Crisfield has a lot of crime rates.
Well, it is Crisfield so somebody probably took the stairs apart and used the wood to build a crabfishing boat.
Hey... the whole trailer's gone now! Damn yachters must have turned it into a houseboat... lol
If trailer is gone and the steps are gone I would guess the owners took them.
We rented the trailer and had the company come get it. Days later the steps were stolen.
Steps were stolen before the trailer left the premises.
Maybe they floated out on the last high tide.
If the trailer is gone who really cares.they served their purpose.
Sounds like some body else is mad because they didn't them. They do look nice.
They are building new Obama houses out of them.
I think you need to start looking at all the help that has been given to the town and see who is still receiving it. Who is still having construction done to their home? Who will need steps when the project is done? Those steps are too nice to tear apart and use as scrap wood, they are being used as steps! Check with the local contractors/builders and see who all of sudden has steps they didn't build. I think they are right under your noses...
were there "steps" taken to prevent this?
Page 6 of the Crisfield Times today has a story about the Henderson situation. Not a lot of details but congratulations to the times for at least trying to find out what happended and publishing the comment of the county admin assistant.
Laird Avenue has new steps
Steps are not big news, why Henderson was relieved from his command would be very interesting. I also praise Crumbacker from the Crisfield Times for trying to obtain information about the facts surrounding Hendersons removal from office.
