What the heck it New York fried chicken? I thought Maryland fried chicken was the best. Have you ever seen anything good that came out of New York? Even Manhattan clam chowder is sucky.

Best food in nyc comes from the street vendors carts.

I bet they won't last 4 months. The biggest day they have there will probably be a robbery I bet.

That's one good thing about chicken. It don't care who cooks it. But cook it well done.

Who ever heard of NYC chicken? Is the meat Halal?

I'll give it a shot. Lot of good stuff has come out if NY. Don't forget that it's a huge state and not just NYC. Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse have some seriously good eats. Even NYC has little Italy and Chinatown where you can get the real deal.

You know that roadside BBQ chicken we get around here all summer long from the fire departments? The vinegar based sauce? That actually comes from Cornell University. The sauce was developed in the 1950's.

"...THEY HAVE ANYTHING YOU WANT!!!! I'M GONNA BE THE FIRST ONE THERE!!!!!"

Somehow I doubt that. Do they have cheese steak subs? Do they have crab cakes? Do they have clams? Do they have hookers? Didn't think so.

I have seen this place in Baltimore , and new castle also in new York . I tried one in Baltimore and it was very good. They have subs and fried fish. Prices very fair.

So frank Perdue hauls the chicken to New York, They haul it back down here to cook and sell.

The fried chicken and seafood place that was in the Clairmont Shopping Center for a while was really good, until they started using the same cooking oil for the chicken AND the seafood both.I totally agree with a previous commentor about our area being the chickenest place, but if there is one thing we can't stand it's eating chicken that taste like fish.

According to the internet info this appears to be a chain.

It's franchise , individually owned.

That seems to be the new American way! Good observation!

That's a tough place to make a living, but hey, no guts no glory. If you can't sell chicken on that corner, my name isn't Colonel Sanders.

Cornell Chicken 4:21! It's delicious. Recipes are online. It's the best grilled using charcoal but gas and even the oven are good also.

Wont beat ROYAL FARMS CHICKEN.

9:20 PM...Hauling chicken to NY and back to Salis. Makes the chicken more tender from the vibrations of the truck. Now if they can blend in the aroma of NYC hot asphalt and street venders cooking they may have something.
