Burning Accomack To The Ground

50 fires in 3 months is making the Eastern Shore Arsonist one of the most prolific arsonist in US History. Thomas Sweatt holds that record with 300 fires but over a span of 20 years!at the rate we are going we will be pushing 300 by summer. I know Virginia authorities are doing the best they can, but it's time to swallow the pride and accept help from the Maryland Fire Marshall's Office. When this person is caught he is looking at a lengthy if not life incarceration for these crimes so he is not going to be caught easily and makes it even more imperative that they accept outside help.

They've moved to Northampton county as well now. A third fire was set early this morning.

Ever notice! If someone attacks them (Police) that person is captured right away. Now it's been what, Four months? And not even a clue? "Wizard Of Oz" comes to mind. Don't look behind the curtain. This is turning into a big joke. Stand back "Were Trained professionals".

That's one of the problems in Accomac County. Even an "Out House" is concidered a building. Why are these structures allowed to still be standing? All vehicles must be tagged. But you get a free pass on the crapper.

If Virginia is not going to pay for the help from Maryland I'm glad their not accepting the help!!

Good point 2:55. The Mason-Dixon line is way up in Seaford, though.

I've been following this with increasing amazement over the past months. You say that it's time "...to accept outside help...". Are you kidding me??? If Andy, Barney, and Gomer down in Accomack couldn't get this sociopath in the first MONTH they should've asked for help. Wait 'til the national media gets ahold of this - they'll be a laughing stock.
Raise the award; list all the times and dates of the fires; and at the very least, post this in the local papers. SOMEBODY knows who is doing this. Stop them before a life is lost.

Whoever the arsonist is is burning down old, abandoned, derelict buildings. What's the big deal? Has anyone been hurt??? If they were burning down people's homes I feel like it would be an entirely different story but,as far as I am concerned, the abandoned buildings are most likely an eyesore and need to be gone anyway.
