I have added a graphic on the sidebar if you click will take you to Jim Ireton's campaign page where you can get info on donating to his campaign and or just showing him support. Jim is basically running unopposed but it is still important he get your support and votes if you are in the City.

I am only gonna make this one statement in this comment regarding the election. Yes Albero filed for Mayor but as I stated Jim is basically running unopposed because I consider that a joke. I will not be bashing any person running and will not allow any comments with that name attached to it. I will promote the people I support and that's it. Feel free to vote for whoever you like.

Ireton is a joke as well, I think that he has done a terrible job as mayor.

It's not an easy job and it hardly pays anything.
I would not say $25,000 hardly anything
The job should pay $85 to $100,000 or what ever is equivalent to the County Executive. It is a very time consuming job and certainly isn't worth $25,000. One cost effective way to pay for a decent salary is to eliminate one of the City Administrators positions. There is no need for a City Administrator, an Assistant City Administrator and a part time Mayor. If the position paid more you would get someone more qualified than Ireton or Albero to run for office.
Hopefully Joe moves out of Salisbury after his ego is crushed in the election
