Virginia Eastern Shore Arsonist Returns



On January 20, 2013, Eastern Shore 911 call center requested the assistance of the Virginia State Police Chesapeake Field Office arson investigators for a structure fire at the 28000 block of Nelsonia Road in Nelsonia, Accomack County.  A storage shed sustained fire damage to one wall and arson is suspected. Preliminary investigation   believes that this fire is related to the ongoing series of structure fires in Accomack County.

ALSO, on January 20, 2013, the Eastern Shore 911 requested the assistance once again of the Chesapeake Field Office arson investigators for a brush and tire fire at the 25000 block Coastal Boulevard in Onley, Accomack County.  It is also believed that this fire may be related to the ongoing series of fires in Accomack County.

All fires are currently being investigated in an ongoing arson investigation. Once information is received and is releaseable, it will be done so through written release.

Once again, any and all information that the public has to assist in this ongoing investigation, are asked to contact the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
