Yes, it should be. If I am going to be pro-life, and I am, then I need to be on both sides of the scale. I believe that God and God alone should choose when someone dies, not an abortionist nor a judge.

That being said, I do believe that we should just weld the doors to their cells shut and the only way they get fed is when their family brings them food. This cuts down on costs (no endless appeals to save their life, food services at the prison can be cut back, don't need as many guards if they never leave the cell), and keeps them from ever getting back into society where they could possibly harm someone.

Put them in lockdown 24/7 and give them the means to do it themselves.

If you don't know how to spell....you don't get to vote. If we made that rule before the presidential election....O'Sama would never have won.

Yes repeal it. Prison is no picnic. I don't have a problem with appeals. I am not one of these people that think the prisons are full of innocent people but it does happen. Example being Kirk Bloodsworth from Cambridge, MD who was the first American sentenced to death row who was exonerated by DNA although his death sentence had already been communted to 2 life sentences.

51% not 47% was the actual figure the other candidate mentioned. 51% of society receives Obammicare, welfare, foodstamps and free cell phones. This is the main reason he won the election.

4:45 PM- do you support going to war or defending your family against invaders? That might involve killing! You don't support merciful death sentences, but you support starvation, a painful ugly death. Seema a bit hypocritical to me!

no. it should actually be enforced every once in a while!

Did anyone see Kirkland Hall's reply to this on WBOC? He is the head of the NAACP, btw.

Since my sister was the victim of a brutal murder, the death penalty shouldn't go away. There are some people who will never be rehabilitated no matter how much therapy, medicine, or prison time they receive. Evil is evil.

An overwhelming number of murders would not happen if the power's that be once and for all got tough on crime. When a person is shown to have a propensity toward violence against another person then lock them up and toss the key away. Time and time again the handwriting is on the wall with these people but nothing productive is done. Then when they finally end up killing someone everyone acts surprised and enraged. Everyone as in those involved in the court system.
