Why Give Burton 2 Week Notice?
It's a question that is being asked and while I know the Church did not make the monster commit any crime, many wonder why he was even still being allowed to work at the Church and in a position to commit the crime when they found out he was a registered sex offender. The thing that disturbs me is that his Mother who was a prominent member of the church had contacted Ruth King a State Representative and member of the Church to have his sex offender record expunged. The Mother at least should have said something about this to the Church.
I just do not understand when they found out he had hid his status from them they gave him 2 week notice??he should have been let go immediately for failing to disclose this info considering he was given keys to the Church that contained a children area. This in my opinion gave him a motive (The anger he felt at being found out ) and opportunity when Nicole came in late after caring for her sick child. I know the Church is devastated as well but it has to be mentioned for the whole story.
Northern Lights On Delmarva? UPDATE
According to Dan Satterfield of WBOC if the KP index gets high enough from the solar flares coming from the sun we may be able to have our own Northern Lights display..how cool is that. I will keep following this throughout the day and keep you updated.

Bennett Middle Is A Go
Yesterday the County Council minus Joe Holloway voted to approve the Bennett Middle School funding paving the way for the project to get underway. This will be a great thing for future students who won't have to be discriminated against for their disabilities or suffer in the heat.
