Eastern Shore Needs It's Own DNA Lab

If there is one thing I wish the State would find the money for, it would be an Eastern Shore DNA lab. Our case loads get backlogged having to be sent to Baltimore for testing with the rest of the state. A DNA lab locally could be used for Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Virginia as well so it could be funded from many avenues.This is something I hope our Local Representative take a serious look at.

Ping Pong Summer Do You Support?

With all the talk about a possible movie called "ping-pong summer" are you supportive of the City helping foot the 1.1 million dollar price tag. I have to say I just don't think with the economy like it is that Ocean City can afford to get into the movie business right now. The amount of in kind services that Ocean City would be offering the movie would be huge anyway and something the Director should take into consideration.

Should Marijuana Possession Under A Certain Amount Just Be Handled With A Ticket?

Never smoked it or had a desire to, however the question is starting to be raised as we head closer to legalization of it if we shouldn't make simple weed possession under a certain amount be handled with a simple ticket. The amount of court time and police time wasted on the small stuff could be used in a much better fashion on other things in my opinion.
