Reader Wants To Thank PRMC Staff

JT, I just wanted to let you know that we had an unexpected PRMC ER visit over the weekend and the service was great. The Doctor we saw was Dr Brian Delligatti and he was very caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and understanding. We were in and out in a relatively short period which was a surprise. PRMC has finally made some improvements to make the visits faster.We recommend PRMC and Dr Delligatti to anyone that has to go .

Somerset County Board Of Education Continues To Deny Video Access To Parent

The Somerset County Board Of Education still has not answered my FOIA or allowed the parents of the child assaulted on the bus see the video tape. The Administration again wants to try to sweep another bullying issue under the rug and hope the summer off season will make people forget.

My Opinion Surplus The Lots

After reading the reports and looking at the data I agree that we should surplus the lots shown and let them be used for commercial or residential ventures. These lots are hardly ever used and utilizing this space could be the key to some revitalization Downtown.

PRESS Release:

On May 30, 2012, members of the Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team executed a search and seizure warrant regarding to a marijuana distribution investigation that was being conducted in Pocomoke, Maryland. The target of this investigation was identified as Toan Chi Huynh D.O.B. 08/31/1986, of 1902 N. Old Mill Drive, Pocomoke, Maryland. Entry of this residence reference to this search and seizure warrant was made by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office STAR Team. Located inside of the residence was the target of this investigation who was taken into custody without incident. During the course of this search and seizure warrant the following items were located and seized by investigators:

· 1,207 Grams of Marijuana

· 61 Grams of Powder MDMA

· 16 Tablets of Ecstasy / MDMA

· Various items of paraphernalia to include a commercial heat sealer and scale

· $1,075.00 in U.S. Currency

Huynh was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and charged with the following offenses:

1. Possession of Marijuana

2. Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana

3. Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana (School Zone)

4. Possession of powder MDMA / Molle

5. Possession with intent to distribute powder MDMA / Molle

6. Possession with intent to distribute powder MDMA / Molle (School Zone)

7. Possession of Ecstasy / MDMA

8. Possession with intent to distribute Ecstasy / MDMA

9. Possession with intent to distribute Ecstasy / MDMA (School Zone)

10. Possession of Paraphernalia

Huynh was subsequently transported to the District Court Commissioner for initial appearance where he was committed to the Worcester County Jail on a $25,000.00 bond. The Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team were assisted by the Worcester County State’s Attorney’s Office, Pocomoke Police Department, Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force, Eastern Shore Virginia Drug Task Force, and Drug Enforcement Administration during the execution of this search and seizure warrant.  

County Budget Hearing Tonight

The Pubic needs to try to make this meeting if possible. It is important that the Community share their thoughts on the matter. We have several members who will listen. Sheree Sample Hughes, Matt Holloway and Stevie Prettyman I have faith will listen to the public and make the right choices for the citizens.

Mental Institution For Rodney Miles Who Killed His Grandmother

It seems the Court decided yesterday that Rodney Miles should be remanded to a Mental Institution for killing his Grandmother last year.I am always torn about these verdicts because I have a hard time believing you didn't know what you were doing was wrong especially with this guy who had a history of violent behavior. Who knows the sad part is their is he could be freed someday I just feel for the family who must be going through hell right now

Dogs Should Not Be Allowed In Drivers Laps Or In Beds Of Trucks Unrestrained

I am in total agreement with other States who have put laws in the books about unrestrained pets inside vehicles or loose in the beds of pickup trucks. I cannot stand to watch when someone goes by me with a loose dog in the truck flying down the highway or seeing people driving with a dog in their lap. This is such an unsafe practice for both drivers and especially the pets. I watch the dogs crossing back and forth in the bed of the trucks standing on the wheel wells looking over the sides just thinking one bump or a sudden motion and they would be flying out of the truck onto the highway. For the dogs being held in peoples laps they can interfere with the steering wheel or get loose and jump in the floor near the accelerator or brake pedal which would lead to disastrous consequences.

I think it's great people love their pets so much they want to take them along, but please if you must do it safely so neither you nor you animals get harmed doing do.

Debbie Campbell is The Only One Responsible For This City Suffering

Enough is Enough with this local Drama Queen destroying this City with her worthless minions since 2005. You want the names of the merry band of misfits look no further than the bunch of whacks that showed up at Debbie's request for the budget meeting last week. I mean come on who in the hell wants to sit in a room with SJ Disharoon, Kaye Gibson, GA Harrison, Joe Albero, Bob Taylor and Debbie's parents?

I love the claims of the misfits in regards to how much money their snack cakes has saved the City, and yet ask them a question with all this "money" Debbie has saved name one positive idea or plan she has personally put forward to move Salisbury forward. Debbie does the oldest trick in the book which is to sit and criticize others plans and when she finds a fault in it she portrays herself as a hero and her minions dance around like the fools they are that their lady has done it again.

That is not leadership, that is cowardice which every person who believes anything this black hearted woman says are. Terry Cohen is just as bad and actually worse in the fact she lets Debbie play her like a little puppet and don't even get me started on Tim Spies who is as useless an individual as walks the earth.

People want to talk about how dysfunctional our Council's have been over the years, and they are right but there has only  been 2 constant denominators throughout all the changes, Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen. The City must rid itself of these two so we can finally get Salisbury moving forward. Let us reflect back. Debbie hated Michael Day because he went along with Barrie Tilghman to often, he had to go. Debbie hated Mike Dunn because he had her number  Debbie hated Louise Smith because she supported her and then Louise {gasp} didn't do what Debbie expected of her. Debbie hated Lynn Cathcart , Debbie hated Gary Comegys, Debbie now hates Laura Mitchell and she has never cared for Shanie at all. Look at Jim Ireton who was one of her closest friends  who she supported for Mayor and then [gasp again] he didn't follow along with what Debbie had in mind so she has now made him a new enemy.

We are talking about a woman who is so immature that instead of taking a goal session seriously a few years back she spent the time laughing at Barrie Tilghman's choice in footwear, that is how ignorant this woman is. She detests renters and would like to see Salisbury University moved somewhere else to rid us of the college kids who she thinks pollute her lofty Camden neighborhood. She sends her elderly Father to spy on people gathering in the park. Weak minded people like I mentioned in the beginning of this article always need to latch on to someone to lead them because they are weak and pathetic and Debbie much like David Koresh leads her faithful flock of rejects.

Since she has gotten the power she has worked years to get the right people in office for, she has set about to rewriting Salisbury's charter whenever something doesn't suit her needs. First up putting the City Solicitor under her control so she could fire Paul Wilber and hire personal friend and ally Mark Tilghman who honestly is a complete doofus who has no clue what is going on without deferring to what Debbie needs him to say.I mean honestly when it came to the budget even, Debbie had so obviously been in lengthy talks with her puppet to again find a way around the City Charter so that the Mayor had no veto power. This Council majority would rewrite the Constitution of the United States given 15 minutes to confer among themselves if it got in the way of what they needed.

It is time we had people representing the City that had not made up their minds after personal phone calls and actually discuss City business in an open meeting for the first time with a clean slate and toss ideas around between 5 members working toward the real goal here which is the City of Salisbury. Debbie Campbell, Terry Cohen and Tim Spies are not only a disgrace to the City residents they are a disgrace period with their personal vendetta's and child antics. The people that continue to support her destructive hissy fits turn a blind eye to her antics because its their Master. Let's see if Kaye Gibson, Bob Taylor, SJ Disharoon, GA Harrison would be supportive of all the things Debbie has done if instead of Debbie it were Barrie Tilghman pulling these stunts. If you don't stand up for a cause and are only being vocal because you support an individual you are a hypocrite.
