My Post Response To Critics Of My Woodson Story

It has been amusing to watch the idiots who are so offended by my coverage of the Woodson bus incident continue to try to leave me comments which are rejected and then leave more comments calling me out for rejecting them which of course are being rejected.

Let me be clear to each and every one of you attempting to defend the School or Lilly Welch and anyone else, and yet wanting to actually leave comments on my website asking what did the child do to deserve to get beat up by the bully, blaming the Mother for complaining about it because it is putting the School in a bad light, and now getting rude and cold to the Child and the family of the kid victimized..You can all kiss my ass and I laugh at you wasting your time trying to leave ignorant comments.

I can assure you I will not lose 1 sec sleep because I have hurt your feeling because I am trying to help resolve this problem not only for the victims family but to try to prevent it from happening in the future to any other child. I get comments telling me how disgusting I am because now the bully's family has had to leave the area..and that it is my fault. The School was initially only giving him a 3 DAY SUSPENSION! so if the attention I brought on the story made it worse than I am happy inside because it deserved to be. The kid may grow up to be a good child yet, but ignoring this and punishing it minimally was not going to help him get there.

Not one person from Woodson has come up with anything to try to prevent future occurrences, all the staff are doing are running around crying foul because the School is being portrayed in a negative light. DO you idiots not realize by continuing to be defensive like you are offended that blame is being placed on you, that you are only making matters worse. What would be wrong with something sent out just saying we are looking at possibly seeing if we can get some Bus Aides on board to prevent this from happening to another child???? o that's right that would actually be proactive which obviously nobody at that School can be. If that were done all criticism would cease, but no you would rather turn your noses up at the victim child and his family like a bunch of snobs because how dare the Mother make such a fuss at the beating of her child.

You think you need to rally other parents around you to tell you how wonderful their child has been treated to make this look like the family being unreasonable to you and the School. Well guess what I am pleased that others children have had good experiences at the School, but guess what one child didn't and that's the one you should be focused on instead of playing these child like games, which again I thought you were the adults teaching the children..my mistake

You and your supporters deserve zero respect for what you are doing and you are just as bad as the child that hit the victim with your reactions. Don't like my opinion on the matter I got 2 words that go together, one I won't type but the last part is off.

Remembering Jay Hancock Ocean City Police Press Release

It is with deep sadness that Chief Bernadette DiPino and the men and women of the Ocean City Police Department must announce the passing of retired police officer and former Ocean City Council member, James (Jay) Hancock.
“Our prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time,” said Chief DiPino.  “Jay served this agency faithfully for more than three decades.  This is a tremendous loss for both the community and our OCPD family.”
Jay served as an Ocean City Police Officer from May 24, 1971 until his retirement on October 1, 2002.  He served in many capacities within the department. Early in his career, he was assigned to the Patrol Division, working various shifts, protecting the streets of Ocean City.
Later in his career he worked in the Services Division.  He performed front desk duties, supervising the detention facility and the communications area in the former Dorchester Street facility.
Jay served the agency in his most visible capacity as a Public Information Officer.  He handled all media duties and served as the face of the department for many years until his retirement.  He was a member of the National Information Officers Association.  While on the city council, he also served as a member of the Police Commission.
Prior to joining the OCPD, he served in the U.S. Armed Services.  He also earned his degree from Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia in 1970.
Funeral arrangements will be announced
