Community Alert For Mock Crash At Stephen Decatur
Stephen Decatur High School tomorrow and friday will have a mock traffic accident for a strong message about drinking and driving during prom season. We will have sign boards out saying mock accident. It will start around 8:15 am both days and should last no more than 45 minutes then going inside to hear a speech.
Thoughts With Lance Gaines Family and Friends
I was very saddened by the news last night that Lance Gaines body had been found in the bay around the area he went missing. It will now be determined what happened to him, but my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. 22 years old is far too young to lose your life .
DNA Ruling In Maryland Is Terrible For Victims
I have been totally in shock since the ruling was handed down last week in regards to getting samples of DNA from people involved in violent crimes. The Maryland Court of Appeals is spitting in the faces of all who seek justice for unsolved cases by this ruling of theirs, and I really would like to know how they could even sleep at night after this.
Police had been able to collect DNA samples from people charged with violent crimes which then could be checked to see if they were matches to any unsolved cases with DNA evidence in the database. This is a common sense thing to do, why they would site privacy for suspects is beyond me I mean they are supposed to help enforce the laws right? I think unsolved murders are included in that.
Council Majority Refuse To Let Rest Of Salisbury Get Represented
The Trio of Clowns have decided they don't want to redistrict in any way that could cost them power, so they are forwarding a plan that allows them to sit on their Camden perch and look over the rest of the City while giving the minorities scraps with another small district. I also love how arrogant Terry is in the paper with the other people have ran for seats from different areas crap. Terry and what good does it do anyone to run from any other parts of the City when your neighborhood has the most voters??
Good candidates who refuse to fall in line with your whims have no chance of getting elected, if you knew Laura Mitchell was going to be the thorn in your side you would have made sure she was blacklisted along with Muir Boda. How is that fair representation? you three ignorant fools have no idea what is going on in this City when you live blocks from each other and I am going to be so happy when Jim Ireton vetoes your dumb suggestion. I also hope the ACLU goes after you for this dumb crap as well.
