Somerset Sheriff's Department To Start 24/7 Protection

I am very pleased to see that the Somerset County Sheriff's Department will begin around the clock protection for area residents, and it is something that has been needed for a long time. Congrats to the department for listening to the people.

Clarification On Hometown Pizza Location

I received an email from the owner of Maho's who asked that I clarify to people in Crisfield that they have nothing to do with this current location and only sold them the equipment before when they moved to Salisbury.  They also told me they are not related to the current owners in any way and didn't know them before they left. This was in response to some comments left under my review that claimed it was the same family and they just wanted people to know it isn't.

One of my favs Pizza! If you are on the North End Of Salisbury of course Delmar Pizza is a favorite, Maho's on college avenue and of course if you are on 413 the only place for great pizza is the Pizza Shoppe.

Student Uniform Vote Tomorrow

The Board of Ed is planning to vote on the issue of School Uniforms tomorrow night, and I think it is time. It has always been a point of teasing and bullying in Schools between the haves and the have nots, and with everyone wearing the same uniform this practice would quickly come to an end.

Concession Stand Coming To The Zoo

I was very pleased to see that after asking visitors of our zoo if they would be interested in a concession stand the majority overwhelmingly said yes, and pending approval from the City Council should become a reality. I personally think it's a great idea as how many times do you see people having picnics all around the outside of the zoo? now if they can buy their food and eat it there it is a win/win for everyone as these funds would go back to the zoo.

City Council Majority and Their Buddy Mark Tilghman Burning Through Legal Fees

This is absolutely beyond disgusting that the City Council majority is burning through the legal fees and tonight will be proposing passing a budget amendment to throw 70,000 more dollars Mark Tilghman's way because they are burning through the legal finds at an unprecedented rate. They have the numbers so of course it will pass and the spending will continue. This is what amuses me more than anything about the dysfunctional political world in Salisbury.

 I know for a fact that Debbie Campbell kept a folder documenting Paul Wilber's expenses because she was convinced it was being wasted, but now when their friend is City Attorney who cares. This also goes to the Kaye Gibson crowd that think Debbie, Terry and Tim walk on water, if you honestly care about wasteful Government spending than you would speak up against your heroes, but as we see time and again with this crowd they only disapprove if they don't like the person involved in it. Let Laura Mitchell ask for a budget amendment for a lawyer friend of hers at that financial number and that group would have pitchforks and torches looking for her, but precious Deborah does it and they won't open their mouths. Can you say Hypocrites?

New Feature Coming Tonight

I have been tinkering with the idea for quite a bit and have finally found the right tools to do it. I now will have a podcast at 6pm called JT's Daily rant which will very in length to the topic at hand but will usually be less than 10 minutes. I would also like to answer questions from my readers on a podcast so leave me some on this thread and I will pick some to answer.
