My Email Response To Marjorie Miles Letter Over Logo Change

I think this letter speaks volumes about the attitudes people are having to deal with when it comes to this Administration. Marjorie, while you are correct you have the right to want certain things, to dismiss the memory of a deceased CHS graduate because you can shows a lack of vision. Did you even bother to look into the history of the logo before you decided to change it ? The one you picked looks like a gang sign crossed with something from the De Vinci Code. The other factor is the cost. The change in logo is going to cost some money, which obviously the County doesn't need to shell out since there was nothing wrong with Louie's. His logo said much more without the words added. The ladder reaching for the sky is a beautiful way for people to think of their experience after their years in Somerset Public Schools. Show some respect to his memory and keep the ones that haven't been replaced yet.

Let me ask this? If Dr. Whittington was to pass away can we rename the school? I could only hope so!!!

But he wasn't black so she doesn't care. If he was, and someone white changed it, there would be all kinds of claims of racism!

I posted this under another title but I want it posted under an updated title. I looked at the symbol that Miles has picked. The pyramid represents DMI DEAD MANS INC a very well known gang. That is my opinion.

522 maybe we should name the sewer plant after Miles.

If I had a choice of naming a school after someone who made an influence to somereset county I would have to say Mr. Stanley Pruitt. R.I.P

549 I wouldn't compare it to the dollar bill, the way Miles is going there will be no money for somerset county.

I cannot believe she also feels she can change the mascot if needed. See she is pushing our buttons, and when someone stands up to defend the school, we get blamed for picking on the board.
